TRANSCRIPT: How does a hot air balloon float? There’s chemistry behind it! Let me explain…no, actually, you must come to Turkey and hear it in person! The Deaf European STEM Conference will be hosted in Eskişehir from August 5 to 9. I’ll be giving a presentation about chemistry and explaining how Deaf people can thrive in STEM fields and break barriers in the hearing world. You’ll also have the chance to socialize and network with Deaf professionals in chemistry, biology, computing, technology, and many other STEM fields. Want more information? The registration fee for participants / presenters is 465 EUR.

Since the Deaf STEM 2026 organization will be held in Eskişehir, participants may arrive by landing at Istanbul airport, where transfer by bus may be arranged. Otherwise, you may also travel by train. Further details regarding transportation arrangements will be shared with you later. 👏🏼

Those who wish to participate in the STEM DEAF 2026 organization must complete the application form in the bio section. In addition, those who wish to participate as conference attendees must fill out a separate form. 👏🏼
