16 Mayıs 2026 tarihinde yayımlanan “Binalarda Enerji Performansı Yönetmeliği” güncellemesiyle birlikte yapı sektöründe sürdürülebilirlik yaklaşımını güçlendiren önemli değişiklikler yürürlüğe girdi.
Yeni düzenleme kapsamında:
• Bina Yaşam Döngüsü Analizi
• Düşük Karbonlu Bina Belgesi
kavramları yönetmeliğe dâhil edildi.
Ayrıca 10.000 m² ve üzeri yeni yapılarda yaşam döngüsü analizi belgesinin zorunlu hâle getirilmesiyle birlikte yapıların çevresel etkileri artık daha kapsamlı değerlendirilecek.

On 16 May 2026, important amendments strengthening the sustainability approach in the construction sector came into force with the update to the Regulation on Energy Performance of Buildings.
Under the new regulation, the following concepts were introduced:
• Building Life Cycle Assessment
• Low-Carbon Building Certificate
In addition, for new buildings with a construction area of 10,000 m² and above, the Building Life Cycle Assessment Certificate has become mandatory.
With these changes, the environmental impacts of buildings will now be evaluated in a more comprehensive manner throughout their life cycle.
