We have officially started activity in our 3DLab in ESPRIT : Ecole Sup Privée d'Ingénierie et de Technologies
This Lab will serve as an exchange hub of technology between students and the industry.
We kicked off the lab with summer internships, with future plans for capstone projects, R&D, and training.

Today’s repair: ELEGOO Mars 5 (SLA)

We serviced an ELEGOO Mars 5 SLA printer. Although WeMake3D specializes in FDM printers, our team supports other 3D printing technologies with the same expertise.

Issue: the Z‑axis motor was seized, causing an error and preventing startup.
Cause: resin had leaked along the lead screw and solidified in the lower bearing, jamming the mechanism.
Action: we disassembled the lead screw and motor, cleaned the resin with a specialized solvent, reassembled, and tested the machine back in service.

Maintenance tips:

Avoid resin spills in the motor compartment.

Clean the lead screw and bearings regularly.

Check sensors and motor drivers periodically.
