Security starts with the infrastructure.

In large-scale electronic security projects, system performance depends on far more than cameras, sensors, servers and software. The reliability of the entire solution starts with the quality of the infrastructure on which it is built.

Over the years, MULTICOM has developed extensive field experience in the civil works and infrastructure required for integrated security, safety, telecommunications and command & control systems, particularly within complex and sensitive environments.

Whether operating at an airport, seaport, border facility, oil & gas site, industrial complex, critical infrastructure or command & control center, every intervention requires much more than technical expertise. Work must be carefully planned and executed while maintaining the site's operational continuity and complying with its specific security, safety, access-control and HSE procedures.

MULTICOM has the qualified teams, engineering capabilities, field equipment and operational resources required to manage the complete infrastructure scope: site surveys and engineering, trenching and excavation, reinforced-concrete foundations and equipment bases, technical chambers and manholes, underground ducts and cable routes, poles and equipment supports, network interconnections, reinstatement of roads and paved areas, and final installation and integration of security equipment.

This capability enables MULTICOM to control the complete chain — from underground infrastructure to the fully operational electronic security system — with coordinated expertise across civil engineering, electrical works, telecommunications, networks, IT and security-system integration.

On sensitive and continuously operating sites, how the work is performed is as important as the final technical result. Construction zones, access permissions, traffic management, operational constraints, co-activity with other contractors, protection of existing infrastructure, worksite safety and security procedures must all be incorporated into the ex*****on methodology.

Our objective is to deliver infrastructure that is robust, maintainable and sustainable, executed according to recognized engineering practices, applicable technical standards, project specifications and the specific procedures governing each critical site.

Growth is not only about expanding a team. It is about clarifying responsibilities, improving collaboration, and building a sustainable capacity to deliver.

MULTICOM now brings together 70 team members under General Management and two complementary pillars.

Deputy General Management comprises 25 team members and coordinates Distribution & B2B Sales, responsible for business development and partner support, together with the following Support Functions:

• Supply Chain & Procurement: purchasing, logistics, and inventory;
• Finance, Administration & HR: finance, compliance, administration, and talent development;
• Maintenance & Support: maintenance, technical assistance, and service continuity;
• Marketing & Communications: brand visibility and communication;
• General Services: facilities and shared resources.

The Projects & Integration Division comprises 44 team members and manages projects from requirements analysis through final acceptance:

• Project Administration: governance, planning, contractual follow-up, and risk management;
• Pre-Sales Engineering: technical architectures, studies, and proposals;
• Innovation & Technical Operations: expertise, R&D, and digital transformation;
• Field Operations: 30 team members responsible for planning, deployment, installation, commissioning, and quality control.

All departments are progressively connected through our ERP and modern management tools. Shared data now supports sales, procurement, inventory, finance, projects, field operations, and maintenance.

We are also developing workflow automation across departments, including validated data transfers, task creation, alerts, status updates, and dashboards. This helps reduce duplicate entry, delays, omissions, and repetitive work.

AI-supported management tools are being introduced carefully to assist with analysis, reporting, document preparation, and control. AI may support and recommend, but it does not replace human judgment or managerial responsibility. Important decisions remain subject to human review and approval.

A major optimization effort is underway. Inspired by Lean Management, we are simplifying workflows, reducing waiting time, waste, and rework, standardizing recurring activities, and continuously improving our processes.

This approach also supports sustainability through better resource utilization, optimized logistics and inventory, reduced travel and paper use, longer equipment lifecycles, and continuous skills development.

Our organizational chart is not a rigid hierarchy. It is an evolving architecture of responsibilities designed to grow with MULTICOM, its people, technologies, and ambitions.

Systems integration projects differ from conventional supply contracts. They combine technologies, manufacturers, subcontractors, contractual duties, site constraints, finances, and operations.

To address this complexity, MultiCom has developed a management model inspired by PMBOK 8, combining the ex*****on discipline of a Project Management Office — PMO with the value and results orientation of a Value Management Office — VMO.

Our model is structured around five interconnected axes:

Administrative Management: contracts, compliance, documentation, approvals, deadlines, correspondence, and stakeholder coordination.

Technical Management: requirements, system architecture, engineering, interoperability, cybersecurity, equipment selection, testing, FAT, SAT, validation, and commissioning.

Operational Management: resource planning, procurement, logistics, site readiness, installation, deployment, training, handover, maintenance preparation, and support readiness.

Financial Management: budget control, purchasing commitments, supplier and subcontractor payments, cash-flow planning, invoicing, cost monitoring, and margin protection.

To support this model, MultiCom has reorganized positions and adapted its organizational structure.

Because distribution, turnkey integration, software deployment, maintenance, and managed services have different constraints, each business model requires its own governance, processes, responsibilities, and indicators.

This transformation is still evolving.
