SATURDAY Hike Announcement: Ziddy Valley

Dear Friends!

This Saturday we are thrilled to inviteto the colorful Ziddy Valley

Saturday 25 June

Start Time: *09:00* at the crossroads of Rudaki and Karamova Streets.

Estimated Finish Time: 17:30.

Location: Ziddy Valley is situated in 70 km (a 1,5-hour drive) in the north direction from Dushanbe.

Hike Level: medium.

Route: we start from picturesque Ziddy Village and go up through the hills until we reach an entrance to a narrow valley surrounded by high mountains with a glacier at the bottom. Here, after a short stroll along the mountain canal, in a nice spot near the mountain stream, with marvelous views of the entire valley, we stop for picnic and rest near the snow, playing snowballs and enjoying nice views.

Easy group: as Ziddy Village is relatively big and offers unique photo opportunities, there is a chance for non-hikers to join us for the drive and then enjoy walking along narrow streets of the village and take photos of authentic houses, curvy streets, friendly people and mountain nature until the main group comes back to return to Dushanbe together.

Equipment: hiking boots or supportive athletic shoes, comfortable clothing, food, water, camera.

We will provide guiding, coffee, tea, cookies, beautiful landscapes, wonderful views for taking pictures and good mood.

*Warning: due to Yugan season (a very nice-looking plant with tender leaves which would burn you when gets in contact with unprotected skin) we highly recommend that you wear long trousers.*

Hike Tajikistan June 5th Announcement Hoji-Obi-Garm Plateau

Dear Hikers,

On the last Sunday we skipped *Hoja Obi Garm* hike because of the weather🌧️⛈️

This *Sunday, June 5th*, the weather looks great and we are happy to invite you again to an easy or middle-difficult hike (depending on the distance and group you choose) to Hoji-Obi-Garm plateau☀️.

Start Time: *09.00* at the crossroads of Rudaki and Karamova streets.

Finish Time (ETA): 17:00

*Location:* Hoja Obi Garm plateau. It's situated in 51 km from
Dushanbe in picturesque branch of Varzob gorge (one hour by city car).

*Hike:* Easy* / Medium

*Route*: We will start our hike from Hoji-Obi-Garm resort with radon spa (but we are not going to take a bath) by the hills covered by human size mountain flowers; towards high mountains and still snow covered gorge; reach the *snow* and stop for the rest and lunch in the middle of old avalanche, playing snowballs and enjoying nice views.
Coming back, we are making a loop, following Pugus River and visiting a holy place (take a tissue with you, to tie it on the juniper tree and make a wish) …

*Easy group will go slower and make smaller loop, stopping in the
middle of the route and to enjoying more relaxing time, waiting for
the rest of the group to get their portion of adventure.

*Equipment:* You will need comfortable clothes; strong
walking shoes, food, water, camera, suncream, hat.

We will provide guiding, coffee, tea, and snacks.

*PLEASE, ATTENTION: Due to season of yugan (a very nice looking plant with tender leaves which would burn your skin if contact straight) we highly recommend you to wear long trousers.*

Dear Friends

We are pleased to invite you to a classical music concert.

The performers are laureates and winners of international competitions, including a graduate of The Julliard School in NYC, Anastasiya Magamedova, piano, and a graduate of the Paris Conservatoire as well as the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin, cellist, Johannes Gray.
Anastasiya is the first and only compatriot from Tajikistan who entered and brilliantly graduated from the world-famous Julliard School in New York City. Johannes received an excellent musical education at the conservatories in Paris and Berlin, took part in the famous International Tchaikovsky Competition in Russia, and was recently announced by Les Talents Adami as one of the best upcoming young musicians of France. The concert will feature works by Leos Janacek, Dmitri Shostakovitch, Francis Poulenc, and Guillaume Connesson.

The concert will be held with the support of the French Embassy in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Cultural Center "Bactria", within the framework of the "Days of Francophonie" in Tajikistan.

Hike Tajikistan SUNDAY 1 May - Announcement: Timur Dara Lake (Fan Mountains)

Dear Friends,

Sunday 1 May, we are glad to invite you to the special and one of the most beautiful a day hiking tour to the emerald *Timurdara Lake* which will pleasantly impress you very much.

Start Time: We meet at 7.45 am, leave city at 8.00 am at the crossroads of Rudaki and Karamova streets. PLEASE DON`T BE LATE!!!

Finish Time: 18.00 – 19.00

Location: It's situated in 75 km from Dushanbe the North-West direction the part of Fan Mountains, towards Shahrinav town and Karatag village, where a famous Tajik poet Mirzo Tursunzoda was born. (2 hours by 4WDV). The last 15 km of the road in poor condition, it requires using 4WDV

Hike: Easy/Difficult*

Route: We start to hike from the Hakimi village alongside wide and blue Karatag river. After half an hour’s walk in the valley there will be an ascend of 150 meters on a path which will lead us to the plateau covered by spring flowers 🌷🌺🌸🏵️ junipers and with terrific view over the valley. (The difficult part of our route is ascend of 150m).

After an hour of hiking from the plateau we're going to reach spectacular mountain lake which is situated on an altitude of 2000 meters. The lake itself is surrounded by the forest hills, pure water has a slight blue colour. One of the banks of the lake is cover with sand which would be great place for our picnic.

Easy Route - go slow and stop after 3.5 km before an ascend in shade near the river, enjoying incredible scenery and exploring surroundings.

Equipment: You will need *strong hiking shoes*, food, water, camera, and etc. We will provide guiding, coffee, tea, and snacks.

Dear Friends,

Tomorrow cause of the weather we are decided for you to organise different and more *challenging hike* ☀️😀

*Tomorrow*, April 23, we are delighted to invite to the easy or difficult (your choice of group and distance) hike to Diamalik valley.

It's situated in 48 km from Dushanbe (50 min by city car) towards Takob town. We leave our cars in a picturesque Diamalik village and divide into two groups straight away (one for easy hike and one for difficult one).

*“Easy route”* will be slowly hiking by the path following small stream with few water till the shoulder top of the mountain for about 1, 5 hour and stop in the shady place to have rest and picnic, enjoy reading, meditating or just relaxing by the stream, waiting for the rest of the group to get their portion of adventure.

The *“difficult route”* will go faster and ascent a rather steep range (about two hours), from where is breathtaking view suddenly opening to our eyes: the panorama of Hoji-Obi-Garm plateau (where we go next week) surrounded by high, snow-covered mountains. At this picturesque spot we are enjoying the views, and after having lunch and; don’t miss your chance to enjoy it!

We will leave the city at *9.00* am and return at about 4.00 - 5.00 pm.

You should take some food, water, a cup for tea or coffee, camera, and etc. We will provide guiding, coffee, tea, cookies, beautiful landscapes, wonderful views for taking pictures and good mood.

We'll meet at *9.00* am at the crossroads of Rudaki and Karamova streets (near the Agriculture University), in front of billiard "Zvezdnaya noch". Transportation can be provided but cost extra. This Sunday, we’re happy to invite you to Romit valley (The East direction)

Date: Sunday, April 3

Start Time: 10.00 at the crossroads of Rudaki and Karamova streets.
PLEASE DON`T BE LATE!
Finish Time: 16.00

Location It’s situated in the East direction from Dushanbe, in one of the nice small valleys in Romit. The way is 60 km by city car (about 1 hour).

Hike: Easy

Route: We leave the cars behind the village and walk along a small river about 5-6 km (about 2 hours) until we reach a nice place for lunch with a waterfall nearby.

Equipment: You will need comfortable clothes, strong walking shoes, extra pair of dry socks; sun cream; food, water, camera, and etc. We will provide guiding, coffee, tea, snacks, and good mood.

Sunday hike/Monday NEW hike😃

Happy Navruz Mubarak! ☀️🌼🌺🌹

Tomorrow, after two weeks break 🌧️🌧️🌧️we are happy to invite you for a day hike to one of the _Valleys of Varzob Gorge (25 – 30 min driving north from Dushanbe)._

Date: Sunday 19 March

Start Time: *10:00* at the crossroads of Rudaki and Karamova streets.

Finish Time: 15:00

Location: We will decide together with you which hike to go on Sunday morning, depending on weather situation.

In any case it would be something easy and, hopefully, enjoyable for everyone. Don’t be afraid of weather – it changes quickly and rainy🌧️ morning can turn out to be a sunny day☀️

Equipment: A warm/rain jacket; warm hat; proper shoes. Food; water.

We will provide guiding, hot tea&coffee, cookies. Beautiful scenery and good mood 😃
