It’s official — our ‘Circular Casting’ is finally here!

For years, we’ve been envisioning how circular materials could move beyond tiles and surfaces, and become little pieces of art we actually live with every day.

Made from at least 80% upcycled waste, each piece begins as a hand-sculpted clay form before being individually cast — giving us the freedom to explore softer, more playful and organic shapes beyond conventional tile-making.

It all comes back to the small rituals of living: holding up your favourite books, lighting a candle, setting down a cup, arranging a few flowers. From bookends and candle holders to coasters and flower frogs, these are everyday objects made to bring a little more calm, joy and art into daily life.

We’re so happy to welcome Bellezza Ceramiche as loqa’s distributor in Malaysia.

At ARCHIDEX, their team introduced loqa so beautifully through Apartment 288—placing our materials alongside inspiring brands and creating a thoughtful, sensory experience around texture, light, colour, and the feeling of home.

Thank you to the Bellezza Ceramiche and Afterlife Design teams for bringing the collection to life with such care and creativity. We’re excited to begin this new chapter together and to see loqa become part of many inspiring projects across Malaysia.

Officially welcoming Beige Granite to our Glazed Circular Tiles family. A warm, softly speckled neutral inspired by natural stone.

Unlike conventional glazed tiles that require two firings, loqa’s Glazed Circular Tiles are produced using a low-impact single-firing process, where body and glaze are fired together, reducing energy consumption.

Made with 80–85% reclaimed ceramic waste, recycled glass, and industrial by-products, our Glazed Circular Tiles transform discarded materials into durable surfaces for architecture.

Been to the opening of theCOMMONS and AllKinds at Cloud 11 today. It feels like so much more than simply congratulating them.

Over more than 10 years of friendship, we’ve had the privilege of watching the founders and their team stay true to their values, their community, and the way they do everything with genuine care and beautiful intention. They are some of the hardest-working people we know, and their journey continues to inspire us.

We’ve learned so much from them over the years, and we’re incredibly proud to celebrate this milestone alongside them.

Crafted from reclaimed ceramic waste, recycled glass, and industrial by-products, our Glazed Circular Tiles challenge the conventional way glazed ceramics are made. While most glazed tiles require two firings—one for the tile body and another for the glaze—ours are engineered using a single-firing process, significantly reducing energy consumption while preserving the beauty, durability, and character of glazed ceramics.

Every tile tells a different story through its unique textures, speckles, and tonal variations, proof that waste can be transformed into materials of lasting value.
