Richard and Robyn, the owners of Pacifica 44 Hull #1, on site to review progress on the build.

Next week, we'll be sitting down with Richard and Robyn to discuss the project from an owner's perspective, including some of the thinking behind the vessel, the decisions that shaped the design, and what they believe matters most in a long-range cruising boat.

If there's a topic you'd like us to cover, feel free to leave a comment below and we'll do our best to include it in the discussion.

Stay tuned.

Pacifica 44 Hull #1 continues progressing through the next stages of construction at our facility in Thailand.

This latest walkthrough provides a closer look at the current state of the prototype build, including structural fitout, systems integration, interior volume development, and mould preparation for key components of the vessel.

While still very much in active construction, the walkthrough starts to show the scale, layout flow, and practical liveaboard spaces that sit behind the original design concept.

The Pacifica 44 has been developed around long-range cruising capability, onboard energy independence, and practical real-world operation, and it is exciting to see those concepts continuing to take physical shape as the project moves forward.

Further updates to come as Hull #1 progresses.

Alongside the long-range cruising configuration of the Pacifica 44, we’ve also been exploring a resort and charter-oriented version of the platform.

The concept has been developed around boutique resort operations, including:
• Sunset cruises
• Reef excursions
• Private charter
• Island transfer applications

The layout focuses on guest flow, open entertaining space, easy water access, and operational flexibility across tropical environments.

With shallow-water capability and broad open deck areas, the platform has been designed for destinations where beach access and water-based guest experience are central to the operation.

One platform, multiple operating possibilities.

The Pacifica 44 was recently featured by Multihulls World / Multipower, highlighting the vessel’s long-range capability, generator-free electrical architecture, and offshore cruising focus.

As hull #1 continues through construction in Thailand, it is encouraging to see growing international interest in the project and its approach to long-range power cruising.

AsOne Yachts has now received ISO 14001 certification 🏆

This reflects the systems and processes we have put in place within the factory to manage environmental impact alongside day-to-day production.

Boatbuilding is a complex, materials-intensive process, and maintaining structured, controlled practices is a key part of how we operate.

Thank you to the team for the work that went into achieving this.

AsOne Yachts were recently featured in a Hua Hin publication, sharing a bit about what we’re building here in Cha-am and our approach to developing boats for international markets.

Thanks to Hua Hin Localplus Guide for the feature.

In a quiet industrial pocket between Hua Hin and Cha-am, far from the polished marinas of Phuket, a different kind of marine story is taking shape. There are no champagne launches here. No rows of gleaming yachts waiting for their owners. Instead, there is the steady rhythm of construction—fibergl...

Alongside the Pacifica 44 program, we’ve also been developing smaller platform concepts designed for a range of applications.

The Pacifica 17 is a 17ft platform that can be configured as a superyacht tender, resort transfer vessel, or recreational sports boat.

Designed around a modified catamaran hull with multiple propulsion options, the focus is on performance, simplicity, and adaptability across different use cases. Features such as shallow water capability and easy beach access make it well suited to a wide range of operating environments.

This concept is available for development and build, with configuration tailored to customers specific application requirements.

Pacifica 44 prototype walkaround with the boat’s designer, Paul Bury.

A quick update on the current stage of the build, with some insight into the thinking behind key elements of the design as it comes together.

At this stage, the scale of the vessel is starting to become clear as the structure and layout take shape.

We’ll continue sharing progress as the project develops.

Build ex*****on across the factory is overseen by Richard Kosidlo, who previously operated his own boatbuilding business in Australia for over 25 years under RMK Marine.

As both General Manager and one of the owners of AsOne Yachts, Richard’s focus is on disciplined production processes and consistent build quality.

In addition to his boatbuilding background, Richard has extensive offshore sailing experience, having spent around eight years living aboard a catamaran with his wife Robyn, cruising the South Pacific and east coast of Australia, including regions such as Lord Howe Island, Vanuatu and New Caledonia.

Following this period, he returned to the industry and co-founded AsOne Yachts with his partners.

He works closely with our experienced Thai team across both the Tasman and Pacifica builds, ensuring each vessel is delivered to the same high standard.
