"Our story continues…

Following the reconstruction, a new era of growth began for GROB. Burkhart Grob modernized the organization and sales operations, giving the company fresh momentum and stability.

His focus was always on people:
🏭 New assembly halls
🍴 In-house cafeteria and kitchen
🏊 Later, even a company-owned swimming pool

His guiding principle guided every decision:

“We are dealing with people and must act accordingly.”

Technologically, GROB set new standards with modern metalworking machines—from thread rolling and cutting-to-length machines to centering machines.

The next milestone followed in the mid-1950s: the development of special-purpose machine tools for large-scale production—and with it, entry into the automotive industry.
A step that had a lasting impact on GROB’s future.
