Publishing Sampled Value (SV) messages is a cornerstone of IEC 61850 testing.

With AMT 205, you get a comprehensive and reliable SV publishing environment:

✅ Available in all AMPRO rooms (Sequencer, Transient, Distance, and more)
✅ Streams can be transmitted as Virtual / Virtual + Real
✅ Time synchronization via GPS, IRIG-B, or PTP
✅ Up to 10 simultaneous streams with different Sample Rates and ASDUs
✅ Each stream supports 8 voltage attributes and 8 current attributes
✅ Maximum SV transmission delay: 5 μs

With these features, AMT 205 becomes a full-fledged Merging Unit simulator, enabling realistic testing and validation of protection and control systems.

All in One Device for GOOSE & SV : SIMULATED / PUBLISH / SUBSCRIBE

“PUBLISH” Mode
The device can act as a virtual Merging Unit. You set the primary voltage and current values, and the device streams them over the network as SV messages. This allows realistic testing of IEDs without relying on live equipment.

"SUBSCRIBE” Mode
The device can listen to existing SV traffic on the network, just like an IED would. It receives and decodes the values published by actual Merging Units.

GPS Time:
Supports time synchronization via GPS, as a time server with the PTP protocol and compare its internal time with the time server.
