The exams for CoPC will be arranged in the next 2 or 3 weeks after the seminar, so that applicants will have time for self-preparation and reading the IEC standards.

In-house training for KAVX in Thailand:
ATEX/ IECEx Training for working with equipment used in an explosive environment

Last week, JTEx conducted an in-house training class on the Selection, Installation, Inspection, and Maintenance of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas for KYOCERA AVX in Thailand. This training covers requirements for ATEX, IECEx, EN, and IEC standards applied to Ex equipment and explosive atmospheres.

In-house class for PTTPLC: Ex Training (IEC, NEC) for working with Ex equipment in Hazardous Areas

Last week (6-9 May 2025), our ATEX/ IECEx qualified trainer conducted a 4-day course on the Selection, Installation, Inspection, and Maintenance of Ex equipment in Hazardous Areas in Thailand (Chonburi). The class was arranged in-house for engineers from PTT Public Company Limited (PTTPLC) who are responsible for the natural gas pipeline services. This intensive class, equipped with knowledge, exercises, and tests, covers the requirements of ATEX, IECEx, EN/ IEC 60079-xx, and NEC 500 for inspection and maintenance of their electrical equipment used in hazardous areas.

Thanks to all attendees for your participation, Q&A, experience sharing during the class, and for all your safety concerns. We hope the knowledge from this class can be applied directly to your work, and participants can gather the guidance for improvement and requirements for safe working, as per one of the objectives of this training.

One of the impressive Ex training that we delivered in Bangkok during 23-26 July on the topic of Selection, Installation, Inspection, and Maintenance of Ex equipment in Hazardous Areas, 4-day course.
Even though a small group, the class was equipped with intensive content covering the ATEX, IECEx, IEC/EN 60079-14/-17, and NEC 500 as well as knowledge and experience sharing. The exercises and post-tests have shown participants understood and completed the course with satisfactory results.

Selection, Installation, Inspection and Maintenance of Ex equipment in Hazardous Areas (SIIM), 4 days class
อบรมการเลือกใช้ การติดตั้ง การตรวจสอบและบำรุงรักษาอุปกรณ์ไฟฟ้าที่ติดตั้งใช้งานในบริเวณอันตราย (ไวไฟ)

JTEx has arranged a public training class, 4 days in Bangkok, for those who need to work with the Selection, Installation, Inspection, and Maintenance of Ex equipment in Hazardous Areas. The training contents are in reference to standards IEC 60079-14, IEC 60079-17, and an overview of the NEC 500. This knowledge is mandatory for working properly and safely with the Ex equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres. All attendees have gained the required knowledge and successfully passed the post-course exam, which received the Certificate of Attendance. Congratulations!!
Hopefully, you will have applied this knowledge to the actual work and accumulated the experience and skills to become competent people in this Ex field.

JTEx Enginieering Service Co., Ltd. ได้จัดอบรมแบบ Public class 4 วัน สำหรับการทำงานเกี่ยวกับการเลือกใช้ การติดตั้ง การตรวจสอบและบำรุงรักษาอุปกรณ์ไฟฟ้าสำหรับติดตั้งใช้งานในบริเวณอันตราย (ไวไฟ) เนื้อหาการอบรมอ้างอิงมาตรฐานนานาชาติ IEC 60079-14, IEC 60079-17 และ NEC 500 (NFPA 70 Chapter 5) ซึ่งเป็นความรู้ที่จำเป็นอย่างยิ่งสำหรับการปฏิบัติงานเกี่ยวกับอุปกรณ์ไฟฟ้าชนิดป้องกันการระเบิดต่างๆ ได้อย่างถูกต้องและปลอดภัย ผู้เข้าอบรมได้รับการถ่ายทอดความรู้จากจากวิทยากร Certified Trainer และมีประสบการณ์โดยตรงด้าน ATX/IECEx Explosion protection มาเกือบ 30ปี
