As part of Terminal 5 construction for Changi Airport Group, JKT and our valued client Sam Lain Equipment Services Pte Ltd recently completed a machine inspection at the RASA factory in Fukuoka, Japan.

This RASA hydraulic type DH FS 400 machine is designed for 400mm internal diameter (ID) pipelines (545mm outer diameter), and will be used to jack and install approximately 2.5km of TPP polymer concrete pipes. The cutter head has been specifically configured for sandy soil conditions, including areas with existing PVD drain pipes — conditions that require careful engineering consideration.

JKT is the official exclusive distributor in Singapore for RASA pipejacking machines, TPP polymer concrete pipes, and GN Solids Control slurry management systems. We support projects with integrated solutions tailored to local ground conditions and project requirements.

We recently visited our client’s project site in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where they included a JKT brand new 500K desander unit for a 700mm-diameter underground pipejacking works.

With slurry treatment deployed onsite, it helps to reduce slurry disposal volume and costs, and provides an option to reuse water for onsite operations. The result is improved cost control, smoother workflow, and a more sustainable pipejacking process.
