Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming our part-time surveyors to the office for a lunch gathering and catch-up session.

Many of them have been working alongside us for years, contributing their time, expertise, and dedication to countless projects. While we may not have the opportunity to meet regularly due to the nature of fieldwork, their efforts and commitment have always been an important part of our success.

The lunch provided a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, share experiences, exchange ideas, and get to know one another better beyond our day-to-day work.

A heartfelt thank you to all our part-time surveyors for your hard work, professionalism, and continued support over the years. Your contributions do not go unnoticed, and we are grateful to have you as part of the team.

We wrapped up a series of busy weeks with a high-energy company outing—badminton, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs 🏸✨.

Everyone showed up with great enthusiasm, played hard in every match, and turned the court into a showcase of teamwork and fun.

Today’s sports activity: PICKLEBALL! 🏓🔥

We all started the game not knowing much about pickleball — some didn’t even know how to hold the paddle properly 😅 But once everyone got the hang of it, the momentum kicked in fast! Suddenly, everyone was smashing shots, diving for balls, and playing like seasoned pickleball pros. 💪🏽

The court was filled with laughter, competitive spirit, teamwork, and plenty of perspiration! Definitely a great session to unwind, stay active, and strengthen the bond outside the office environment.

And of course… after burning all those calories, we wrapped up the event with a well-deserved lunch at Tenderbest 🍗🍛

Last Friday, 15 May 2026, we attended “Vietnam Insiders: Builders, Backers & Operators” at Novotel Thai Ha, Hanoi. It was truly inspiring to hear candid insights and real-life experiences from Vietnam’s builders who created iconic companies, the backers who supported bold visions early on, and the operators who helped scale them into impactful businesses today.

Beyond the meaningful discussions, the event was a great opportunity to connect with passionate individuals who continue to contribute to Vietnam’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem. The conversations and new connections made reinforced the collaborative spirit driving innovation across the market.

We were honoured to receive an invitation from Republic Polytechnic to visit their campus for an introduction and discussion on potential collaboration.

Our Group Managing Director, Kelvin Foo, together with Shu Hui, Director of Analytics & Data Collection, had the opportunity to meet with Dr Yang Thee Quek, Assistant Director (Capability & Industry), and Mohamed Yoosuf, Assistant Programme Chair (Diploma in Mobility & Robotic Systems).

The discussion focused on how TTS Group can contribute to Republic Polytechnic’s curriculum planning, as well as explore opportunities to collaborate as industry partners in developing future-ready talent.

Through Dr Quek, we also had the opportunity to connect with his team member, Mr Mark Tay, Senior Specialist, Head of Training, and AFE RP UATO ACTA. It was a valuable session where we exchanged insights on drone operations in Singapore and discussed potential areas of collaboration.

We look forward to building a strong partnership with Republic Polytechnic and contributing to the growth of the next generation of industry professionals.

We are grateful to NUS Capstone Project 2026 for inviting the Managing Director of TTS Group to serve on the expert panel for the evaluation of MSc student projects.

Our sincere appreciation to Dr Litian XIE, PhD, and Dr Yang Liu for the invitation and for fostering this valuable exchange between academia and industry.

At TTS Group, we see the incorporation of Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) into Transport Planning as a highly relevant topic for the near future. AVs will not only affect vehicle operations but also reshape transport modelling assumptions, traffic management approaches, road safety considerations, infrastructure design, and multimodal system planning.

This is why we believe transport planners must start preparing early. Good planning will require us to assess not just the technology itself, but also its interaction with people, policies, regulations, incident response, public transport, and the wider urban environment.

As a transport consultancy, this area is especially relevant to us because the future of planning will increasingly require both strong engineering foundations and the ability to understand emerging technologies in a practical way.

We are encouraged to see students already engaging with such forward-looking issues, and we are glad to have contributed constructive feedback to support their professional development.

TTS Group was pleased to be part of the exclusive LTA Road Innovation Lab tour organised by Intelligent Transportation Society Singapore, Young Professional Chapter, bringing together passionate young professionals in the transport industry.

Our Director, Analytics & Data Collection, Lim Shu Hui, together with our Transport Planner, TAN LI had the opportunity to explore the lab—where Singapore’s future transport technologies are imagined, built, and tested.

It was an insightful session connecting with fellow young professionals, exchanging ideas, and gaining a deeper appreciation of innovations shaping our industry.
