But Lego might be the easiest way to understand what Ansys just achieved.

Imagine trying to build something with 68 billion pieces. A traditional computer works through the problem step by step.

Quantum computing explores an entirely different way of solving it.

Recently, Ansys successfully demonstrated a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation equivalent to 68 billion grid points using just 39 qubits, powered by NVIDIA CUDA-Q on the Gefion supercomputer.

It's still research—but it's an exciting milestone toward the future of engineering simulation, where quantum computing, AI, and physics come together to solve problems that were once beyond reach.
