Under the parent organisation SCDF, Bowen NCDCC aims to be a choice Gold Uniformed Group that equips our youths with life-savings skills via participation in interesting and challenging Civil Defence activities. Exciting activities within NCDCC are, learning to use state-of-the-art equipment such as water-mist gun, the impulse gun, latest rescue equipment like the hydraulic spread cutter; learning

useful and practical skills like First Aid and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to enable youths to save precious lives of their loved ones in emergencies; viewing and riding in high-tech SCDF vehicles like Red Rhino, FireFly, Fire Bike etc; gaining fire safety knowledge by visiting our safe fire simulator building nicknamed the "FURNACE" at the Civil Defence Academy (CDA).
