We are pleased to announce that NING Research Professional Simulation Engineers has been awarded a contract by a leading Norwegian subsea operator to design and analyze a submersible ROV that will be equipped with cameras, sensors, manipulators, and thrusters for precise underwater exploration, inspection, and intervention

NING Research simulation engineers will utilize computational fluid dynamics to analyze forces the will be encounter by the ROV. Simulating ROV in operation is a specialized task that will require defeaturing decisions, meshing precision, selection of right turbulence model and build load combinations that encompass thrusters, propulsion and environment conditions.

Software engineers from GWUS AI driven by core engineering fundamentals may also utilize AI and machine learning capabilities to optimize the design.

NING Research simulation engineers with professional qualification such as PSE, CPEng and CEng will utilize finite element analysis software to design the structure that can endure intense strength, vibration, shock and fatigue operating condition.

Software engineers from GWUS AI driven by core engineering fundamentals may also utilize AI and machine learning capabilities to optimize the design.

We are pleased to announce that NING Research Professional Simulation Engineers has been awarded a contract to design the external airflow and acoustic for a data center in Hong Kong.

The contract is of significant to NING Research (NR) for two reasons. Firstly, this is NR first involvement in a Hong Kong development, one of the world's most exciting city. Secondly, the data center is located in a dense residential and office area, which is not typical.

Data center may emit large amount of heat and noise, to reduce or even eliminate heat and noise to close and adjacent residential and office buildings becomes an engineering challenge.

NING Research engineers with extensive airflow and acoustic simulation experience and professional qualification such as CDCE (Certified Data Center Expert) and PSE (Professional Simulation Engineer) will utilize specialized software to design a solution that overcomes this interesting engineering challenge.

The solution will also be deployed in Tokyo with similar constraint and will be announced at a later date.

The NING Research Professional Simulation Engineers Campus Tour 2026 continues as we visit National University of Singapore for Career Talk on 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘪𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘌𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘳.

NING Research and GWUS AI actively seek opportunities to have early engagement with students interested in simulation engineering. We wished to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practice through simulation workshops, industrial talks, and career discussions.

The NING Research Professional Simulation Engineers Campus Tour 2026 continues as we visit Nanyang Technological University, Singapore for a 2-day meshing workshop on 08 Oct and 15 Oct 2026.

During this hands-on workshop, NING Research engineers, CFD Lead Kevin Lim and Senior consultant Dr Keagan Chee were present to share on a wide range of practical topics and hands-on meshing for CFD using Ansys.

Appreciate Dr Rif, School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, for the invitation and NR CFD Team for turning up to support the workshop. It is encouraging to witness a large number of impressive NTU students actively participating and approaching our engineers after the sessions.

The unveiling of Formula Racing's NVF-3 EV Race Car! 🏁

NING Research Professional Simulation Engineers and GWUS is the proud sponsor and collaborator of NTU Formula Racing with our simulation capabilities in CFD and FEA. With simulation, NTU Formula Racing design and build a new generator NVF-3 that is faster, lighter, stronger and more precise than its predecessor. into the design process, helping the team build on their earlier success and develop a new generation vehicle.

The students with NVF-3 will be competing on Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit in November 2026 followed by Silverstone Circuit UK next year. We wish them an enjoyable journey and remarkable acheivements to come.
