Our team had a fruitful and engaging visit at CommunicAsia, where they met with our principals, business associates, partners, and customers throughout the event. CommunicAsia, held annually as part of Asia Tech x Singapore at the Singapore Expo, is one of the region’s most important platforms for ICT and telecommunications. It brings together solution providers, industry leaders, and technology innovators from across Asia to share insights, showcase advancements, and explore new opportunities.

Being part of such a significant event allowed our team to strengthen existing relationships, build new connections, and stay updated on the latest developments shaping the communications landscape. It was a productive and meaningful experience for everyone involved.

Recently, Jason Electronics was featured in CNA’s documentary series “Safety By Choice, Not By Chance – Marine”, which offers an inside look at the realities faced by our marine service engineers working onboard vessels at anchorage and PSA terminals.

The episode also highlights the importance of essential safety training such as BOSIET before personnel are deployed to offshore oil platforms and FPSO vessels.

The maritime environment is often unpredictable and demanding. Every vessel boarding for installation, maintenance, or service work requires careful preparation, clear communication, and constant safety awareness.

We are honoured to have our team featured in this documentary, and we are proud of our engineers and frontline personnel who uphold high safety standards while supporting marine operations every day.

A special thank you to CNA and the Workplace Safety and Health Council for spotlighting the people working behind the scenes in Singapore’s maritime industry.

Strengthening Maritime Safety Through GMDSS Knowledge Sharing with DNV

We were honoured to be invited by DNV to conduct a GMDSS technical sharing session at their office in Singapore on 7th April 2026.

Led by our colleague, Irvin Yew, the session brought together surveyors and a radio service firm for a practical exchange of insights — from SOLAS 2022 amendment to Chapter IV (GMDSS), Navigational equipment, future system such as VDES & Navdat and real survey experiences

It was a valuable reminder that beyond procedures and standards, true alignment comes from open conversations and shared understanding on the ground.

Appreciative of the opportunity and looking forward to more meaningful collaborations ahead.

Collaborating with Singapore Institute of Technology to Advance Maritime Connectivity

We have recently entered a research collaboration with Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) under the Future Ship and System Design (FSSD) R&D Programme.

The FSSD R&D Programme is supported by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and Singapore Maritime Institute (SMI) and aims to support the transformation of Singapore’s electric harbour craft sector.

As part of this collaboration, both parties will work together to enhance maritime connectivity through the development of a multi-link communication system — integrating both hardware and software with advanced link management and Quality of Service capabilities to support future vessel operations.

This partnership reflects Jason Marine Group’s continued commitment to contributing to the growth and development of Singapore’s maritime industry.

We look forward to the innovations and impact that will come from this collaboration.

Thank You for Joining Us at our Customer Event on 22 April 2026

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all our customers, partners, and guests who joined us for our Customer Event on 22 April 2026.

The session brought together industry experts and professionals to explore the growing importance of connectivity and cybersecurity in today’s maritime landscape. As vessels become increasingly connected, enabled by technologies such as Starlink, the need for robust, end-to-end cybersecurity has never been more critical.

We are grateful to our distinguished speakers for their valuable insights:
• Mayank Surana from DNV on Maritime Cybersecurity
• Marvyn Dy from Fortinet on Securing IT & OT Environments
• Tan Tian Seng from Jason Electronics Pte Ltd on the Evolution of Maritime Connectivity Solutions

A key highlight of the event was the signing of the research collaboration agreement between Singapore Institute of Technology and Jason Marine Group under the Future Ship and System Design (FSSD) Programme. Supported by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore and Singapore Maritime Institute, this initiative marks an important step towards advancing Singapore’s electric harbour craft sector and developing next-generation maritime communication systems.
We hope the discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities provided valuable takeaways for all.

Thank you once again for your time and support — we look forward to staying connected and continuing to support your journey towards safer, smarter, and more resilient maritime operations.
