What an incredible few days at APGC 2026, held alongside the SNEC Anniversary Meeting!
Our journey began with the pre-conference Advanced Vitrectomy Surgery (AVS) course, where our TowardPi OCT, Norlase laser, and Haag-Streit Surgical Simulator took centre stage, allowing surgeons to rehearse vitreoretinal procedures in a fully immersive virtual reality environment.
A real highlight this year was seeing our Chief Engineer, Alan, take the stage to share Mandarin’s involvement in global eye health outreach to Laos. Drawing on three separate trips to the region, he spoke to a room of NGO workers and volunteers about the vital role that service and engineering teams play on the ground—going beyond keeping equipment running to supporting sustainable access to eye care and improving reliability for hospitals.
At our main booth, visitors had the opportunity to explore the all-new Haag-Streit Elara 900 Slit Lamp, the TowardPi OCT featuring an industry-leading 30 × 25 mm OCTA scan, the Optopol REVO FC 130 OCT/Fundus Camera paired with the PTS perimeter for combined structure-function reporting, the Norlase Lynx and Echo laser systems with time-saving micropulse laser trabeculoplasty, and the Reticam 3100+ wide-field retinal camera.
A huge thank you as well to our partners at HASA Optix, Belle Healthcare, and Volk for bringing such fantastic energy to the event with their surgical instruments and diagnostic lenses.
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, attended our demonstrations, and connected with our team. We look forward to seeing you again at the next event!
