Recently, our team had the pleasure of completing a customized job for the Singapore Flying College, transforming a used airplane propeller into an elegant trophy.

Our team of veterans worked tirelessly to integrate multiple materials, ensuring the final product was both lightweight and durable. The challenge of balancing the center of gravity for the upright propeller profile was met with skillful expertise. We crafted a sturdy wooden base and affixed a small plaque to the face of the propeller, all while adhering to our client's specific requirements. To top it off, we finished the propeller with a layer of powder coating for a smooth and aesthetically pleasing finish.

Our client was thrilled with the final product, which exceeded their expectations thanks to our close communication and collaboration throughout the entire process.

We have collaborated with Star Movie Productions to design and fabricate a 2.4m long storage unit that can withstand the corrosion and the load of the water while being able to self drain through a specified opening.

The water storage unit had a custom sealed window to allow for visual confirmation of the water level and a specified valve for extraction of the waste water when needed. Through the use of our acquired drafting software, we were able to easily custom and test out certain components without the need to physically fabricate it.

This project was done based on the client’s requirement and EXSOL partnered with one of our partners to ensure that it was successfully delivered from the start to the end of the project.

In 2022, we assisted VSE Pte Ltd in bringing their desired art design piece into fruition. The client provided the opportunity for us to design and fabricate a modular base and structure system in which to allow for safe and efficient assembly of the entire structure. EXSOL was involved all the way from material suggestion and assembly process to the post treatment powder coating of the structure itself.

We ensured that the base was both aesthetically sufficient and safe to take the load of viewers of the art piece by designing a steel frame for the bottom layer and combining sturdy wood at the top layer.

Apart from that we ensure that the it was a modular based which can be split into transportable parts for storage and assembly. The structure itself was made up of aluminium at the top layer followed by milds steel at the bottom to allow a sturdier a base and lighter top layer.

The testing of the structure was commissioned along with the client. We are very pleased and humbled for it to eventually be displayed at Our Tampines Hub and Changi Airport for the SG LIONHEART PROJECT during the period of Nov 2022 to Jan 2023.
