Singapore’s population is ageing rapidly. By 2030, around 1 in 4 Singaporeans will be aged 65 or above, compared with just 1 in 10 in 2010¹. 📈

In support of Healthy Ageing Month, we’re raising awareness about the importance of an active lifestyle in staying healthy and ageing well.

𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 is the foundation of healthy ageing². Regular exercise helps to maintain muscle strength, joint flexibility and cardiovascular fitness, which generally reduce the risk of falls and injury².

You can start with a 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. These low-impact activities can help improve mobility while giving you a chance to enjoy the outdoors and connect with others.

If you prefer something indoors, you may consider visiting a nearby ActiveSG Sport Centre to explore a range of activities and facilities.

Age is only a number — let’s stay active, age well and build a healthier community together! 💪

A great week in Melbourne at IDF-WPR 2026 & ADC 2026 & Metabolic Diseases 2026 congress!

We have spent our week in showcasing our STRIDE framework and share how decentralised point-of-care HbA1c screening and digital risk stratification can support earlier detection, targeted intervention and more connected diabetes care.

➡️Moving Towards More Accessible Diabetes Care with University of Newcastle

We are proud to share our collaboration journey with University of Newcastle and PolygenRx in support of the Diabetes Alliance Program Plus (DAP+), an established programme of diabetes care that aims to improve the prevention, detection, treatment and self-management of diabetes in rural and regional communities in Australia. By integrating accessible point-of-care testing solutions into community-based care, we aim to help overcome barriers to diabetes screening and bring testing closer to those who need it.

Thank you everyone who connected with us at the event. We look forward to building on these conversations and explore new possibilities for better diabetes care in Australia🌏💙

Over the past quarter, we have been supporting a community diabetes based rescreening initiative at Bukit Batok Bus Interchange, led by the BBE Community Health Resource Centre, a project supported by the JurongHealth Fund. The initiative is a collaboration with Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, and it aims to make health screening more accessible to eligible residents in the Bukit Batok district.

This initiative started on 23 April to 21 July 2026, conducted on every Thursday and Friday, from 10 am to 5 pm. The community screening included an HbA1c finger-prick test to measure average blood sugar levels in the past two to three months, with no fasting required, using our point-of-care solution PreciS-A HbA1c Rapid Analysis System. Participants also received height and weight measurements, as well as consultation and advice from healthcare professionals.

We are proud to support this initiative in bringing health screening closer to the community. Following the encouraging response, BBE has extended the initiative through October at Bukit Batok Bus Interchange and expanded it to an additional screening location at Hillview, starting from 8 August! 🙌🏻

Check out our latest post for the upcoming diabetes screening schedule in the Bukit Batok district!
