Variable Frequency Drives

A variable frequency drive (VFD) is a type of motor controller that drives an electric motor by varying the frequency and voltage of its power supply.

The VFD can be used to control ramp-up and ramp-down of the motor during start or stop, respectively.

SGIT does engineering, procurement, commissioning for new or upgrade of VFD system, repair and retrofitting of VFD controls and panels for oil and gas, offshore marine, and renewable energy industries, to integrate with the motors control and/or automation systems.

Any VFD issues can be resolved such that productivity is maximized, lifespan of motors and automation systems prolonged, and downtime is minimized.
