Recently, HollySys successfully supported a refinery modernization project for Pemex (Petróleos Mexicanos), Mexico’s national oil & gas company and one of the leading energy enterprises in Latin America. The project was implemented at the Tula Refinery, one of Mexico’s most strategically important refining facilities.

Leveraging its expertise in industrial automation and process instrumentation, HollySys delivered a tailored solution designed for demanding refining applications. As BASF's long-term strategic partner, HollySys has successfully supported the full start-up of BASF's Zhanjiang Verbund Site in China—one of the world's most advanced green chemical complexes. The project sets a global benchmark in green manufacturing and demonstrates HollySys’ capability to deliver IEC 61508/61511 SIL3-compliant safety and control systems under the highest international standards.

HollySys delivered its HiaGuard SIL3 Safety Instrumented System (SIS) for the site's Gas Detection System (GDS), covering over 10,000 signals across all production units. The solution ensures maximum safety, seamless integration, and reliable operation. Despite stringent international standards and complex processes, HollySys completed end-to-end delivery from 2022 to full start-up—reinforcing its position as a trusted global partner in industrial functional safety.

Recently, HollySys commissioned a New Energy Mining Manufacturing Ex*****on Platform for Zijin Mining Group’s 20 KTA Lithium Salt Production Project in Tibet using its XMagital® Intelligent System. Located at 4,467–4,800 meters, it is one of the world’s highest-altitude lithium facilities. The solution enables closed-loop digital management, centralized remote monitoring and predictive maintenance, intelligent scheduling, full-process coordination, seamless enterprise integration, and environmental monitoring, providing a replicable model for safe, efficient, and sustainable salt lake lithium extraction under extreme conditions.

Recently, HollySys supported the successful commissioning of Phase I of the world’s largest integrated green hydrogen-ammonia-methanol facility developed by the China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC) Songyuan Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park.

Facing technical challenges from renewable energy intermittency and the tight coupling of hydrogen and ammonia production, HollySys implemented an innovative Wind-Solar-Storage-Hydrogen-Ammonia-Methanol Industrial Intelligent Agent, integrating Distributed Control System (DCS), Safety Instrumented System (SIS), and Gas Detection System (GDS), with digital twin technology and an intelligent optimization and control platform. In the project, HollySys enables stable, large-scale green hydrogen and chemical operations, advancing the project toward commercial application and supporting global sustainable energy development.
