Voco Hotel Kuching gives a 17 year old building a new skin that redefines its presence on the street. Neuman Studio designed a colonnade at ground level inspired by the covered walkways of local shophouses, a shaded threshold between the city and the hotel. Dekton Ava clads that colonnade in large format slabs that bring the visual solidity of stone without the structural weight, while reducing direct solar exposure on the existing glazing.

In Tokyo, Japan, a bank chose Dekton to renew its shared spaces.

The same design runs through the staff and visitor café and the visitor washroom, covering walls, custom joinery and flooring with a single reading from start to finish. It is a surface that stands up to water, staining and daily use, and stays easy to maintain over time.

Discover Casa Cosentino 'Sanare', a project centred on welcome and reconnection. At the heart of the journey sits a kitchen conceived as a place for gathering and reflection, where Dekton Kira covers the main benchtop with a calm that supports the contemplative atmosphere of the space.

This bathroom did not need major works to feel completely new.

The renovation kept the original sanitary ware and ceramics, and focused everything on the vanity area: a custom worktop in Dekton, with the washbasin integrated directly into the surface for a monolithic, sculptural effect. Its golden veining brings warmth to the room.

A sliding mirror opens access to both sections of the cabinet, with the toothbrush holders tucked discreetly to the side, so the vanity stays clean and uncluttered.

Would you renovate a bathroom without changing the layout?

Today on Inside, Andre and Jane show us around their beautiful space, where an open concept layout keeps the kitchen and living area in constant conversation.

They opened their doors to walk us through it. A Sensa panel that separates the two zones without closing either one off, a Dekton kitchen island that anchors the whole space, and a monochromatic palette layered with contrasting textures. In the bathrooms Dekton carries the same language through, and the main bath was extended to hold a suspended Silestone sink that runs the full width of the wall.

A façade designed to move with the light.

Dekton Aeris brings a soft, natural tone to this project, creating a subtle presence that shifts throughout the day. Set against Ireland’s changing light and weather, its resistance to UV rays and rain helps preserve its colour and character over time.

More than protection, the façade becomes part of the building’s identity from the street.

This kitchen, beautifully designed by Hest Interior, was created around a client who is always hosting. That is why they chose Dekton Argentium for the countertop and the dining table: a surface that resists scratches and heat, where a pan can come straight off the hob without a second thought.

The tone follows the japandi character of the project, with raw textures and natural materials that let the space breathe.

Design: Hest Interior - Jakarta, Indonesia.

A dream bathroom starts with the right surface.

Dekton resists moisture without altering its finish, which makes it suitable for basins, showers and wall cladding. And with its colour range, the combinations across walls, worktops and floors multiply as far as the design takes them.

Which of these colours would you choose for your bathroom?
