👋 Meet Lizette — Project Coordinator in the FERP project at Väderstad.
Lizette joined Väderstad in 2019 as an assembler on the TopDown line. She later became Team Leader on the evening shift, before stepping into her current role last year.
That move was something she had actively worked towards through Väderstad’s mentorship programme.
💬 “From the beginning, I set myself the goal that the programme would lead to a new role. Then I broke that goal down into smaller steps and worked towards them.”
Along the way, Lizette challenged herself in new ways, broadened her network and had strong support from her mentor, Rebecca.
💬 “Just knowing that someone supports you and believes in you can sometimes be exactly what you need to dare to try something new.”
Today, her role in the FERP project gives her a new perspective on the whole organisation.
💬 “I often end up in situations that feel unfamiliar, but I try to embrace them as opportunities to grow.”
And the biggest lesson she takes with her?
💬 “You can do so much more than you think.”
