🥛 One farm. One robot. A whole lot of milk!

In July 2026, Rantakangas Farm in Toholampi, Finland, set a new monthly milk production record for the farm: 83,901 kg of milk from a milking herd of around 76 cows and just one DeLaval VMS™ V310.

Congratulations to Arto, Marianne and the entire Rantakangas Farm team on this outstanding achievement! 👏

🇸🇪 Big news from DeLaval Sweden

We've signed an agreement with Marås Farm in Vikingstad, Östergötland, to deliver what will become our largest rotary milking parlour installation in Europe. 🎉

At the heart of the project is a 120-stall DeLaval E500 rotary milking parlour.

Marås Farm milks around 1,600 cows and produces approximately 64 tonnes of milk every day. At that scale, efficiency matters. The new parlour will support the farm's current operation while providing room to grow in the years ahead. 💪

We look forward to sharing updates as the project progresses.

Recently, we spent a fantastic few days in Western Australia with farmers from Tasmania and Victoria. Together, we visited a range of innovative dairy farms before taking part in Dairy Innovation Day, one of Western Australia's largest dairy industry events.

Along the way, we explored a range of DeLaval solutions in action, from rotary and parallel parlour systems through to large-scale robotic milking, including Evans Dairy's E100 rotary, Elgin Farms' P2100 Rapid Exit parallel parlour, and the Haggerty family's 18-robot installation at Noalimba Farms.

While every farm was different, many of the conversations centred on the same challenges and opportunities: labour, efficiency, growth, and long-term sustainability. Seeing how different farmers are approaching those issues firsthand made the week especially valuable.
