Dear friends of the DynaTech family,

The time has come to say farewell, at least in the way we have known each other up to now.

After a more than 7-year vibrant journey, DynaTech is switching off its main engines just to turn on a new one: we have transferred all our activities to Colmis – previously a part-owner – and from now on will be operating under the brand “ColmisPlus”. You can already check out our new website www.colmisplus.com and stay in touch with us through Colmis social media channels.

On behalf of all the core team that once integrated DynaTech – Per Skoglund, Stefan Rundquist, Kenneth Bäcklund, Benjamin Minshaw and, of course, Colmis Proving Ground – we want to say a big THANK YOU to all.

Thank you to Innovatum in Trollhättan for helping us set things up in the very early days; thank you for all the support we received from industry colleagues – you know who you are and don’t need to be named individually – along the entire way; thank you to all the people that have somehow worked with us – either directly or indirectly – during all these years (employees, partners, suppliers, etc.); and last but of course not least, thank you to all our customers: for trusting the DynaTech brand and our services and keep us going strong, right up to the end.

Thank you once again for your ongoing support and commitment: time flies and in just a few weeks it will already be 7 YEARS since we launched DynaTech! What started as an adventure has now grown into a solid and expanding business thanks to all of YOU: customers, partners, suppliers and industry colleagues alike.

We look very much forward to all the new projects, challenges and opportunities that we will embark on in 2019, across all of our business areas: Vehicle Development, Performance Shows, Driving Training and The Winter Experience.

We trust all of you will continue to be part of this exciting journey and hope to also welcome many newcomers.

The 20th edition of the Automotive Testing Expo (last week in Stuttgart) exceeded our expectations and was a fantastic get-together with partners, customers, suppliers and industry colleagues altogether.

With Easter weekend taking place and also Qingmingjie coming up in China, we want to send out a warm spring festivities greeting to all our customers, partners and the greater DynaTech family altogether.

Today April, 2nd is especially significant for us, as it marks the sixth anniversary since we started DynaTech. Always a nice moment to reflect on the way we have come, but even more to look forward to the exciting future. A big thank you to all of you that make this happen!

A record 400 participants in the ColmisPlus Driving Academy

A few days back, during the peak of the cold climate testing season, we reached 400 participants in the driver training this winter. A record since we kicked off the ColmisPlus Driving Academy and also since introducing the mandatory driving training at Colmis Proving Ground last year. The aim of the academy is to increase not only skills but awareness and hereby overall safety standards, both for testers and the general public. A better understanding of vehicle control benefits everyone involved in the testing industry and the region altogether; we are proud to contribute as much as we can.

We thank each one of the hundreds of participants for the lively and friendly interaction during the theory sessions and the enthusiasm in learning as much as possible during the driving sessions; even those that ended up in the snowbank.😊 As we like to say, whatever driving level you have, the most important is to learn and to have fun while learning. We got the impression at least the majority of you did so.

What a fantastic way of starting the summer for DynaTech's Performance Team leader, Kenneth Bäcklund, who this weekend won the Midnattssolsrallyt - one of northern Europe's top historic rallies - for the second time after already finishing in first position in 2010 and as runner-up a few times since. It was an exciting duel with brilliant driver Thomas Thelin, who finished in second position!

Congrats Kenneth Bäcklund, we are proud of you!

Andra segern i Midnattssolsrallyt för Bäcklund:

Midnattssolsrallyt 2016 fick en riktigt spännande avslutning, med en duell mellan Kenneth Bäcklund, Ford Es**rt, och Thomas Thelin, Porsche 911. Jag hade bestämt mig för att inte bli tvåa en gång till, säger Bäcklund som tog sin andra seger i en av norra Europas största historiska rallytävlingar.
