Sunshine, football, and hot dogs by the pitch – what a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon! ☀️🌭⚽

At SPM Instrument, we are proud sponsors of the entire IK Viljan Strängnäs football (soccer) association, supporting the incredible work they do for sports and community engagement across all levels. A couple of days ago, we had the pleasure of being the main sponsor for the IK Viljan Ladies Division 1 match and invited our employees and their families to join us for a fantastic day.

From cheering in the stands to enjoying hot dogs in the sun, it was a great afternoon filled with community spirit, laughter, and fantastic football. Moments like these remind us why supporting local sports matters – bringing people together both on and off the field.

🔧 Helping to strengthen industrial expertise in our hometown, Strängnäs

We are proud to collaborate with Komvux (municipal adult education) on a new industrial training program starting this spring.

As an industrial company in a smaller town, we know how crucial the right skills are – for our own development as well as for the local business community in general. Meanwhile, there is a shortage of the technical skills that the industry needs.

This is why we want to be involved and contribute. By getting involved in the training, we hope to strengthen the supply of skills, create new opportunities for people locally, and contribute to a strong industrial cluster in our region in the long term.

to our very first instrument; a huge box by today’s standards, but cutting-edge technology at the time!

The second photo shows one of the very first trials of the SPM method, carried out in the engine room of a shipping vessel – a rare glimpse into the early days of vibration-based condition monitoring.

What once required a full-size case to measure and analyze now fits into compact sensors and software powered by AI and endless integration possibilities. It’s amazing how far innovation has taken us, while our mission remains the same: to help our customers understand the condition of their machines.

From big boxes to big ideas – and even bigger progress. 💡📦
