”I’ve found my way back to life again.”

Before his brain hemorrhage at 26, Kenth’s days revolved around work — and whatever time was left, he spent with his dogs in the forest. Weekends spent outdoors, almost always.

Then everything changed. Years in a wheelchair meant he could barely get outside with them.

Today, with C-Brace, Kenth walks 5–6 km every day through the forest — his dogs by his side again. He’s driven across Europe to Spain. And his next goal? Cycling together with his dog.

Microprocessor-controlled knee prosthesis enable safer walking in a variety of environments and lead to less cognitive load.

Research from Jönköping University in Sweden (e.g., Möller et al.) shows that mechanical knees result in higher activity in the frontal lobe, which is mentally exhausting. A microprocessor knee (MPK) reduces the cognitive load, by automating stability. This enables the user to remain present with each step, rather than focusing solely on their prosthesis.
