Installation and adjustment of radar overlay on a Wärtsilä Navi-Sailor ECDIS system together with a Furuno radar.

Radar overlay is a powerful tool to easily check radar targets against the vessels electronic chart.
This gives benefits such as better situational awareness and sensor verification.
A confirmation that the digital coastline matches actual physical echoes to spot chart errors or GPS drift.

We work with both Wärtsilä and Furuno, two of the best makers of marine electronics.

New day, new Yokogawa annual gyro service successfully completed.
We also assisted to integrate a FLIR R6 NAV PRO Compass system into the Wärtsilä ECDIS and Furuno Radar systems onboard another vessel. A great solution for prevention of GNSS jamming and spoofing.

Gyro service on a Yokogawa CMZ900 gyro compass today.

Both gyrosphere and centre pin had severe damage. Replaced parts and annual overhaul performed. Gyro compass is now up and running in normal condition again.

Today we installed a BlueTraker LRIT Arctic system.

The only LRIT system for Arctic environments that can withstand the extreme temperature range from -50°C to +55°C. This is achieved with an integrated pre-heating element that warms up the inner housing to be able to cold start from -50°C.

Iridium based hardware with global coverage. A perfect choice for Sea Area A4, north and south of 70° latitude.

The BlueTraker LRIT is available in a standard version as well as the Arctic.

BlueTraker also offers SSAS systems with both standard and Arctic versions.
