On this vessel we performed one our our core tasks, annual GMDSS radio survey. As usual with the Futronic testbox and our favorite, the Jotron beacons.

We also installed Telko Telscope digital logbooks. A powerful solution to get rid of paper books and repetitive work for the crew. An approved way to digitalize SOLAS logbooks and MARPOL record books.
Installation is really simple with a server that gathers data from the vessels sensors and connects to the ship’s network. In this way you can work with the interface from any PC, tablet or smartphone onboard.

A milestone was achieved today! We delivered the Certificate of Compliance for a VDR where we managed to integrate a lot of signals from various old systems onboard.
To connect NMEA signals or P450 network data is easy, but to integrate analogue and digital data from really old systems requires a lot of engineering.
We are proud that this VDR is properly recording data from all required systems onboard! 💪🏻🎉

Not two days are the same in this business. Sometimes work is done climbing in the top of the mast and sometimes as far down as you can come on a vessel.

Yesterday we successfully replaced a defective JRC JLN-550 Speed Log transducer mounted inside the fore peak ballast tank when the vessel was alongside for cargo operations.

Magnetron replacements in two Furuno X-band radars today along with Wärtsilä ECDIS software reinstallation and health check.

We installed the bow radar in 2020 on this vessel and it has survived the harsh environment with lots of salty spray water for six years now and is still in good condition. A good example that quality products are worth it. This is why we love to work with quality manufacturers like Furuno.

Race weekend is on at Anderstorp Raceway! 🏁
Team Falken Motorsports first race in the V8 Thundercars series, proudly sponsored by RANAB.
After some issues during practice and qualifying, the car started in 13th position in race 1 and crossed the line in 9th position.
Now let’s hope for good results in race 2 and 3, and of course during the rest of the season!

Installation of Furuno FAR-1518 radar on a fishing vessel.
Installation was done smoothly even with restricted space inside the bridge console. Radar was interfaced to the Furuno satellite compass and Furuno AIS as well as ARPA output to the Olex chartplotter.

Today’s scope, annual gyro service on a dual Yokogawa CMZ900 system and NACOS Marine solid state X-band radar service.
We are there to assist with equipment from many different makers. 🛠️

Nice to see three of our customers vessels together. It is not everyday you have one dry cargo, one passenger and one fishing vessel in the same picture. We work with all types of vessels. ⭐️⚓️

New week, new drydocking. ⭐️
This week we performed radar service including magnetron replacements on both X-band and S-band radars from Wärtsilä, annual GMDSS inspection, ECDIS health checks and programming of portable UHF radios from both Motorola and Entel.

Always nice to work outside in the sunny weather for radar service and magnetron replacement.
During drydocking of this nice vessel we performed various services including annual GMDSS radio survey, radar service and ECDIS health checks.
