The piece is a little Higonokami style friction folder with wrought iron and nickel cladding over 26c3 core. Blade is 70 mm long. The handle is mild steel which has been burnt with linseed oil.

Another gyuto done finished last week, 240 with wrought iron over Apex Ultra. Handle is vasticola burl with textured buffalo horn bolster.

Three higonokami style folders done today, will bring a bunch of these folders to Knifeshow Austria 🇦🇹. The core is 26c3 with wrought iron/nickel cladding. Making them in some varying shapes and sizes but all of them are quite thin in the blades and aimed to be a folding paring knife/ outdoor cooking knife.

Yet another gyuto for Knifeshow Austria 🇦🇹, this time with a lazy twist cladding and 135cr3 core. The handle is ebony with textured horn ferrule.

Now I have quite a few gyutos ready for the show so the coming months before the show will be focused on other blade profiles.

Another big gyuto for Knifeshow Austria 🇦🇹 in October. Twisted wrought iron and nickel cladding with Apex Ultra core. Handle is buffalo horn and some brown ebony.

Another gyuto for Knifeshow Austria 🇦🇹. This one has wrought iron and nickel cladding with 135cr3core. Handle is some two tone rosewood. There will be alot of 220-250 gyutos on my table, do you guys wish to see any other profiles too?

Right now productivity is abit low due to summer time with the family and some rehab training from a back/neck that has been acting up badly the last few months. Hope to be back strong after summer💪

Another one that will be available at .austria. Rather happy with the black kurouchi that with the black micarta and brass pins give a classic look. It has wrought iron cladding with 135cr3 core.

Another big one for .austria, only big knives for a big show right? Big taper on this one, almost integral.

More details on these knives will come closer to the show.

Working on many different projects at the moment some for Austria and some other.

Next one up for .austria is this fulltang integral gyuto. A high polish forged surface on the hira and jute micarta handle are some of its features. Now I think I am out of snowy pictures thankfully!
