Time for some snowy photos, makes me even happier that spring has arrived🌞 This 265 gyuto has been tucked away since earlier this year waiting for .austria. It has 135cr3 core steel with stacked wrought iron cladding, big taper which I can promise that there will be quite a few knives with on my table. The handle is gidgee.

The knife will be available at knifeshow Austria in October🔥

A little look at the second jellyroll knife I have made. This one is only really coarse wrought iron rolled up and forgewelded and no contracting nickel like the last one. Did a deep etch before the quench and have tried multiple finishes on it before I decided for this one.

Having fun experimenting with these patterns, this one has a small weld flaw where the tang is forgewelded to the blade where the handle starts. I am planning on making a auction for it here on Instagram next week.

This 225*58mm gyuto is up for grabs, first come first served this time. Dm me to claim it.

It is 135cr3 core with wrought iron cladding. Handle is eucalyptus burl and off white micarta. Slightly convex bevels.

The weight of the blade is 170 grams, taper is 6,5 out of handle- 1,6mm mid blade and 0,9 mm where shinogi starts at the tip. Balance point is right where the semi integral ends ~15mm from the heel.

Some sneak peaks of what is going with me to a certain knifeshow in October... I like to start early on these things as you might notice 😅 really looking forward to .austria and meeting many of you there! Things are still abit slowed down due to a coctail of infections in the house, hopefully we see the end now🌞

Lets do a random draw for this first finished blade with the new stamp. The buyer will be drawn tomorrow 2nd April at 8pm CET. Send me a Dm to get in the draw.

The blade is a 245x58 mm gyuto with 135cr3 core steel and wrought iron cladding. Taper is 7mm out of handle, 1,7 mid blade and 0,9 where the grind starts at the tip. The lovely handle is made by and suits the blade very well with its tasmanian blackwood and blonde buffalo horn. The total weight is 196 grams.
