Some treasures from Knifeshow Austria 🇦🇹. Once again big thanks to Martin Huber and his time for hosting this amazing event. Also thanks to the great people we have gotten to spend time with this weekend, we appreciate you all♥️ Me and Oscar are still trying to process all the impressions but next week it is back to business and planning for our own Christmas fair here at the forge om december 5th.

Ofcourse we need at least one good slicer on the table Knifeshow Austria 🇦🇹. This sujihiki is going to be there on Saturday, ~280 mm cutting edge, shirogami 1 core steel with wrought iron and nickel cladding. Bocote handle with ebony spacer.

A bunch of these higonokami style folders will come with us to Knifeshow Austria 🇦🇹. Forged thin and oriented towards outdoor cooking or other delicate cutting work. Some varying sizes and profiles to suit different preferences.

Nakiri ready for Knifeshow Austria 🇦🇹. 135cr3 core with wrought iron and nickel cladding. Got some interesting nickel waves going on the right side of the blade. Handle is Rosewood and reindeer antler.

So I believe it is time for a proper introduction! Oscar has been at the workshop now for abit more than a month, he will spend his time as a apprentice of two years here with me and I am very excited to have him here and follow his developments. For Knifeshow Austria 🇦🇹 he will bring a few of these "apprentice pettys" which will be available at a very fair price. Oscar is also making very nice carbon steel frying pans which might also come with us to the show. Only two weeks left now til we get to meet everyone at Knifeshow Austria and we are both looking forward to it alot.
