Today we are going back to the roots. 4000 hour service on a Wärtsilä 26 V12.
This service includes replacement of fuel injectors, check of valve clearance, crankshaft deflection and other bits and bobs.
Always nice to be back on the engines, if only for a day or two 😊

Another day, another dollar.
Problems with high inlet temperature on engines, cleaning of sea water strainers did not help. Time to open heat exchangers, 2 pcs 2 days in a row. Pretty dirty. The temperature difference over cooler went from 10 degrees to 32 degrees. All good in the hood! 👨🏼‍🔧

Long time no see, busy days.
Today we have replaced a faulty HAWE valve with feedback in an offshore Knuckle Boom Crane. There was some strange faults that led us to this valve, or more the feedback to be honest. We replaced the whole "shabang" to be sure.

We also managed to squeeze in a small job with replacing a pressure switch on a HPU for remote controlled valves. This particular switch was for "pump stop" function. The pump didnt stop which led to high pressure in the system.

Today we are having fun, control pre-charge pressure on 99 accumulators 😅💪🏼
