Big machinery is on the move in Norway coustesy of Seabrokers Heavy Machinery!

Mekvik Maskin has acquired the 28 tonne electric excavator SY265E, becoming the first contractor in Kristiansund to operate a fully electric excavator.

Next up is the SY175EW, an 18 tonne fully electric wheeled excavator. This unit has undergone its final touch ups and been fitted with custom equipment ahead of its final delivery to the end customer.

Congratulations to the new owners! We look forward to seeing these machines at work on their next job sites.

Our colleagues at Nordcon have been to the jobsite in Stockholm to capture some footage of the machine in action and we’re looking forward to seeing the final video and share it with you. Updates to come!

What started with a request to source a single excavator for a local farmer in Iceland has since grown into a thriving business for our sub dealer, Bóas Eðvaldsson. In just over three years, he has imported nearly 300 registered machines and built a successful operation in Ásbrú, Iceland.

Today, Bóas continues to develop his business with SANY machinery. Speaking about our brand, he says, “SANY machines are reliable and high-quality, just like the manufacturer itself. The machines also continuously improve.”

The SY80U is an 8.8 tonne compact excavator with a rated power output of 53.7 kW at 2,100 rpm. Thanks to its swing boom and compact slewing radius of just 1,480 mm, it’s easy to manoeuvre in tight spaces, making it a good fit for both construction and landscaping work.

These photos are from Nordfarm Maskin AB own facility, where the SY80U was used to install a stormwater pipeline. A look at the machine in action and the kind of work it’s built for.

The fully electric wheel loader SW956E is going on tour in Sweden and Denmark!

In Denmark, the SW956E is heading to a local contractor to get hands-on experience of the machinery and see how it fits into their own day-to-day operations.

In Sweden, you’ll have the opportunity to see this fully electric machine up close and in action during the demo tour.

The 20-tonne SW956E is equipped with a state-of-the-art 350 kWh CATL battery and a standard 3 m³ bucket, keeping it running continuously on the job site while also delivering heavy haulage.

At SANY, we strive to make the working days for our machine operators as comfortable as possible. We continuously work to implement the feedback we receive from the operators to make sure we deliver the most thoughtful designs in terms of comfortability, without restricting functionality.

For the electrical excavator SY215E that means an ergonomical, air suspended and heated seat, with wider armrests and adjustable height configurations. Working long hours shouldn't strain neither the machine nor the operator.

From the port of Oslo to construction sites across the city.

The SANY e435 electric concrete truck is in operation with TKT Transport, delivering concrete for Heidelberg Materials Betong Norge.

Equipped with a 350 kWh battery and a 9 m³ concrete mixer, the SANY e435 combines electric driving and electric mixing. With CCS2 fast charging at up to 250 kW, it is built for efficient concrete transport with zero tailpipe emissions and reduced noise.

And the truck is already proving its capabilities as expressed by the people behind the scenes.
“The first generation of electric concrete trucks could handle two, or at most three, loads without recharging. Now we can handle four, which corresponds to a full workday locally in the Oslo area,” says John Edvin Tornes, Acting Chairman of TKT Transport.

We’re following up last weeks post of the electrical wheeled excavator with its diesel counterpart, the SY155W!
