Might setting the working height at a better level make it easier to load things in your workplace?

A special solution was needed for one EdmoLift customer when it came to loading wooden pieces onto pallets: a TL 1000 scissor lift table fitted with a roller conveyor platform.

The tables lift the pallets up to an appropriate loading height, and the facility makes use of 70 units similar to those shown in the photographs.

Even if your products are different, it is still possible that reducing unnecessary bending and movement could have an effect in your production or packing area.

Three days at Nor-Fishing in Trondheim gave us a closer look at the material-handling challenges across the fisheries and seafood industry.

Together with Hybeko, we discussed productivity, ergonomics, and the additional demands that challenging environments and food handling place on lifting equipment. Simple and flexible solutions attracted considerable interest, especially our stainless-steel WP work positioners.

One loading dock. Several logistics flows. Limited room for structural changes.

When an international fashion chain prepared to open two flagship stores in central Bucharest, the existing loading dock presented a challenge. It worked for large trucks, but not for smaller deliveries or removing recyclable waste.

EdmoLift’s Romanian distributor, BiltLift, developed a customized solution based on a TA 2000 scissor lift platform. When lowered to ground level, larger vehicles can drive over it and use the existing loading dock. When raised, the same area can handle smaller vehicles and waste management.

The result is a safe and space-efficient solution that simplifies daily logistics – without extensive remodeling of the property.

At EdmoLift, lifting is part of our everyday work. For our colleague Håkan Reher, it also takes place on a very different stage.

Earlier this month, Håkan defended his title at the European Classic Bench Press Championships in Lithuania. After securing gold and setting a European record with 245.5 kg, he raised the bar to 251.5 kg – and set a new world record. He was also named Best Open Lifter at the championships.

“The world record means the most. That is the achievement that carries the most weight,” Håkan says.

When he is not competing, Håkan works as an assembly technician in EdmoLift’s special assembly department, building customized lift tables for customers worldwide across a wide range of industries.

For Håkan, the connection between his work and the sport goes beyond lifting heavy loads.

“It is mainly about stopping and thinking before you act. Whether I am training or working, technique matters. You have to lift correctly.”

The result in Lithuania was Håkan’s second consecutive European title. His earlier achievements also include three Swedish Championship gold medals and a World Championship bronze. Next up is the Swedish Championship – and perhaps another Swedish record.

Congratulations, Håkan, on the gold medal, the world record, and an outstanding achievement! 🏆

That was the challenge facing one of ACTIL’s customers.
