Meet Åse – Team leader Order at Alde.

Now in her seventh year at Alde, Åse has built something that doesn’t happen overnight: real relationships with the customers she works with.
That’s what she values most about the job – the relationships built over the years, the variety in her days, and the chance to make a difference, whether that means helping a customer or a colleague.

Working for a global company is part of what she loves about the job. And she’ll be the first to point out the irony:

Trade shows aren’t just about showing what we do. They’re about meeting the people who use it.

There’s something different about standing next to the product – being able to touch it, ask a question, get a straight answer from our service technicians who knows the system inside out.

This autumn, you’ll find us in Düsseldorf, Jönköping, Paris and Birmingham – four shows, and hopefully plenty of good conversations along the way.

We’re looking forward to meeting familiar faces again, and just as many new ones.

Meet Joakim – Service Technician at Alde.

Joakim joined Alde in March 2020 – and since then, the work has never really stood still.
No two days look the same when you’re working with service.

For Joakim, the most rewarding part of the job is the challenge of solving new problems as they arise. Not the routine – but the moment something unexpected comes up, and you have to figure it out.

And that kind of work is rarely done alone.

”My colleagues mean a lot to me – I think we’re a great bunch who always show up for each other.”

At Alde, that’s not just something you say. It’s something Joakim experiences every day. 🧡

Alde tests vehicles across different markets and conditions – and of course, this also takes place right here in Färlöv.

Hymer is one of the manufacturers who regularly brings their vehicles to us for cold chamber testing. Most recently, one of their latest models spent several days in our facility – exposed to temperatures down to -30°C, with around twenty sensors placed at the points most vulnerable to cold.

Every measurement is tracked throughout the process. When the data is in, our service technician sits down with the customer and goes through it point by point – not just handing over numbers, but making sure the right conclusions are drawn from them.

It’s a process that takes time. Because the conditions it prepares for don’t forgive shortcuts.

Meet Krister Salomonsson – Test Engineer at Alde.

For almost three years, Krister has been part of developing and testing the products behind the comfort our customers experience on the road.

What he enjoys most about his role is the variation and challenge that comes with product development – where no two days are exactly the same.

Ask him what makes that work, and the answer isn’t about the products.

“One person can’t know everything, but together we know a lot.”

That mindset reflects something important in everyday life at Alde – teamwork, support, and a workplace where people are always willing to help each other out. Good conversations and a positive atmosphere are simply part of the job.

Developing comfort takes more than technology. 🧡
