Meet Sinan Dogan - our newly appointed Sales Director for Asia and Africa. Over the rwo coming weeks, we're letting him tell his story in his own words.
"I am an Industrial Engineer with a master's degree in design, bringing 15 years of experience in sales - including 12 years in technical sales. Throughout my career, I have combined engineering knowledge with strong commercial acumen to deliver sustainable growth and long-term partnerships.
I have worked with international companies across diverse markets, successfully managing both local and global dealer networks - developing market strategies, leading cross-border collaborations, and driving business expansion in competitive environments.
People often ask how an Industrial Engineer with a master's in design ends up in Technical Sales. For me, it was simple: I wanted to see how the things we design actually impact the people using them.
My career at TerraRoc began as a Sales Engineer for Eastern Europe - since day one of the TerraRoc story, I have been part of the company's growth journey. Seeing that region thrive was incredibly rewarding, and it's what led to my newest challenge: I've just been appointed as Sales Director for the Asian and African markets.
Now I'm taking everything I learned in Eastern Europe - how to bridge technical design with local market needs - and applying it to drive our growth across two of the most dynamic continents on earth. It's a huge responsibility. But there's nothing like the feeling of opening a new market and watching it succeed.
My 'typical' day usually starts with a global perspective, literally. The first thing I do is check requests coming in from different time zones. While most people have a desk and a chair, my office is often an airplane seat at 30,000 feet. In 2025 alone, I travelled to 23 different countries and met with hundreds of customers.
Whether sitting down with a local dealer or presenting to an international client, my goal is always the same: use my engineering and design background to bridge the gap between our technical specs and their real-world challenges. It's fast-paced - but seeing our solutions work across so many different cultures is the best part of the job."
