✨ Celebrating 50 Years of the Republic of Seychelles ✨

UCPS is proud to be part of the JFA Group, whose philanthropic arm, the Joseph France Albert Family Foundation (JFA Foundation), has contributed SCR 1 million towards the celebrations marking the 50th Anniversary of the Republic of Seychelles.

For more than 56 years, the Albert family and its businesses have grown alongside Seychelles, witnessing and contributing to the country’s development across generations. As one of the group’s oldest companies, UCPS has had the privilege of playing a small part in helping build the infrastructure and communities that shape the Seychelles we know today.

This contribution was made in recognition of a historic national milestone and in celebration of the remarkable journey of our Republic over the past five decades.

Representing the JFA Foundation during the handover ceremony, UCPS CEO Gregory Albert presented the donation to Minister Wallace Cosgrow, Chairman of the National Day Committee.

As we celebrate 50 years of nationhood, we join all Seychellois in reflecting on our shared history, appreciating how far our country has come, and looking forward with confidence to the future.

The UCPS Golden Rules are live.

On Tuesday 28th April 2026 marked the launch of our Golden Rules of Safety created from our highest‑risk activities and focused on what matters most: preventing serious harm.

From leadership receiving the Golden Rules handbook to the unveiling of our first on‑site signage, this launch represents a shared commitment to safe behaviours at every level.
