تتولى أفنية للاستشارات الهندسية الإشراف على المراحل النهائية لمشروع مستشفى المواساة بمدينة جدة، وهو مشروع صحي نوعي يستهدف تعزيز جودة الخدمات الطبية وتوسيع الطاقة الاستيعابية في المنطقة، حيث يضم أكثر من 40 عيادة تخصصية دقيقة وأكثر من 200 سرير تنويمي مجهز وفق أحدث المعايير. ويشمل نطاق إشراف أفنية متابعة كافة الأعمال المعمارية والإنشائية والكهروميكانيكية والتشطيبات، إلى جانب التنسيق مع جميع الأطراف المعنية والموردين لضمان مطابقة التنفيذ للمخططات والمواصفات الفنية ومتطلبات الجودة والسلامة، مع التركيز على جاهزية الأنظمة التشغيلية والطبية والبنية التحتية. وقد وصلت الأعمال إلى مراحل متقدمة تشمل الاختبارات والتشغيل التجريبي ومعالجة الملاحظات النهائية للتأكد من جاهزية المرافق، ومن المتوقع تسليم المشروع خلال الشهرين القادمين، مما يعكس خبرة أفنية في إدارة المشاريع الصحية وضمان استدامتها وكفاءتها التشغيلية لتلبية تطلعات المالك والمستخدم النهائي وفق أفضل الممارسات العالمية.

Afniah Engineering Consulting is
overseeing the final stages of the Mouwasat Hospital Jeddah project, a distinctive healthcare project aimed at enhancing the quality of medical services and expanding healthcare capacity in the region. The hospital includes more than 40 specialized clinics and over 200 inpatient beds, equipped in accordance with the latest standards. Afniah’s supervision scope covers all architectural, structural, electromechanical, and finishing works, in addition to coordinating with all relevant stakeholders and suppliers to ensure that implementation complies with the approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality and safety requirements, with particular attention to the integration of operational systems, medical systems, and supporting infrastructure. The project has reached advanced stages, including testing, commissioning, and addressing final observations to verify the performance of all facilities before handover. It is expected to be handed over within the next two months, reflecting Afniah’s expertise in managing healthcare projects and ensuring their sustainability and operational efficiency to meet the expectations of both the owner and end users, in line with international best practices.

حيث يأتي هذا المركز ضمن استراتيجية "أفنية" لتعزيز ريادتها في قطاع التراث الثقافي، وتطوير الممارسات المهنية للحفاظ على المواقع التاريخية وتأهيلها وفق متطلبات التنمية المعاصرة.

The new department will bring together a select group of international experts and consultants, along with specialized technical professionals in heritage architecture and the restoration of historic buildings. It will provide integrated services covering engineering supervision, project and risk management, and quality control, ensuring implementation in accordance with the highest international standards while preserving historical authenticity and cultural values.

‏ومن هذا المنطلق، لا يُتعامل مع السياق كمعطى جاهز للتوظيف الشكلي، بل كمنظومة حيّة تُقرأ وتُفكك وتُعاد صياغتها ضمن عملية تصميمية تستند إلى الفهم قبل التشكيل، وإلى الإدراك قبل الإنتاج.

وفي هذا السياق، يستعد المركز خلال الربع الثالث لإطلاق حزمة من الخدمات المتخصصة في توثيق وتسجيل مواقع التراث العالمي، وتأتي هذه الخطوة ضمن منظومة من الحلول التأهيلية والاستشارية المصممة لدعم الجهات والمؤسسات العاملة في قطاع التراث والآثار.

The Center for Urban Studies and Architectural Heritage at "Afniah" continues to develop its research and professional programs in the fields of urban heritage and architectural conservation. This development is anchored in an integrated framework built upon research, innovation, and foresight into the sector's future.

In this context, the Center is preparing to launch a suite of specialized services for documenting and registering World Heritage sites during the third quarter. This step is part of an integrated ecosystem of rehabilitative and advisory solutions designed to support entities and institutions operating within the heritage and antiquities sector.

Complementing these efforts, the Center is working on developing advanced solutions for designing, rehabilitating, and urbanistically and culturally revitalizing heritage cities. This aims to enhance local identity and preserve the historical value of the sites, in accordance with contemporary visions that consider cultural, social, and economic dimensions.

These directions come in response to the rapid growth in the heritage sector and to meet the increasing demands of the labor market in the fields of conservation and cultural development. They also reflect the Center's continuous endeavors to expand the scope of its research and specializations in Islamic architecture, as well as preserving its historical buildings and sites as an authentic part of cultural memory.

يواصل فريق "أفنية" وضع اللمسات الأخيرة على مشروع مستشفى المواساة بمدينة جدة، والذي يُتوقع أن يكون جاهزاً للتسليم الابتدائي بنهاية شهر يونيو المقبل.

وقد جرى تطوير المشروع وفق أعلى المعايير الهندسية والطبية العالمية، بعناية دقيقة تجمع بين الحداثة المعمارية والتطور التقني، بما يعكس رؤية متقدمة ترتقي بتجربة الرعاية الصحية وجوّها العلاجي. ويشكل هذا المشروع إضافة نوعية للمدينة؛ إذ يقدّم نموذجاً معمارياً وطبياً متكاملاً يسهم في تعزيز جودة الخدمات الطبية، ويضع تجربة المريض وراحته في المقام الأول.

يُعيد هذا المشروع صياغة الفراغ المكتبي برؤية تتجاوز "الوظيفة" إلى صناعة فضاء محفّز للإبداع، تتكامل فيه التجربة الحسية مع كفاءة الأداء. وقد صُممت المكاتب كبيئة معماريّة حيّة تعزز التفاعل بين المستخدم والمكان، ضمن لغة بصرية تجمع بين الحداثة والبساطة.

تتمحور فكرة التصميم حول خلق "امتداد معاصر" لمشروع قائم، لا كإضافة شكلية، بل كإعادة تفسير للنظام المعماري بروح حديثة تضمن استمرارية الهوية وتطورها. ومن هذا المنطلق، دُمجت الكتلة والفراغ لإنتاج تجربة مكانية متجددة تدفع بالمشروع نحو المستقبل.

يمتد المشروع على مساحة 33,000 متر مربع من المكاتب المرنة والمصممة وفق أعلى معايير الكفاءة، يكملها فندق أعمال (4 نجوم) يضم 140 غرفة. ويرتبط الفندق بالمكاتب بشكل مباشر ليشكل منظومة متكاملة تعزز حيوية المكان وتدعم الاستخدامات المتعددة.

في جوهره، يطرح المشروع نموذجاً ملهماً لبيئات العمل الحديثة، محولاً الاحتياجات الوظيفية إلى فضاء معماري متوازن يستلهم من السياق ويُعيد تعريف العلاقة بين العمل والفراغ.

This project redefines office environments by transcending "functionality" to create an inspiring space where sensory experience meets operational efficiency. Designed as a living architectural ecosystem, these offices foster seamless interaction between the user and the space, embodying a design language that balances modernity with minimalist elegance.

The core design concept revolves around crafting a "contemporary extension" to an existing project—not merely as a physical addition, but as a modern reinterpretation of the established architectural system. By integrating mass and void, the design reproduces a spatial experience that preserves the project’s identity while propelling it toward the future.

Spanning approximately 33,000 square meters, the workspace is engineered for high efficiency and flexibility to meet the demands of modern business. Complementing this urban fabric is a 4-star business hotel featuring 140 rooms, directly integrated with the office blocks to form a cohesive, mixed-use ecosystem that enhances the vitality of the site.

At its heart, the project represents a transformative spatial experience, reimagining the relationship between work and space. It offers a contemporary model for professional environments that draw inspiration from their context, translating user needs into a balanced and visionary architectural sanctuary.

يمثل هذا المشروع قراءة معاصرة لعمارة الساحل الشرقي، تنطلق من فهم العلاقة بين الامتداد الرملي والخط البحري بوصفهما عنصرين يشكلان هوية المكان وطبيعته البصرية. ولم يكن الهدف استحضار مفردات التراث العمراني بصيغتها التقليدية، بل إعادة تفسيرها ضمن لغة معمارية حديثة تستجيب لروح الموقع وظروفه البيئية.

انبثقت الفكرة التصميمية من محاكاة التلاقي بين الرمال والشاطئ، حيث تم تطوير كتلة معمارية تنسجم مع الأرض وتتعامل معها كامتداد طبيعي للمشهد المحيط. وبهذا، جاء المبنى ليعكس حالة من الانسياب والهدوء، مع توازن واضح بين عناصر الظل والكتلة والفراغ، بما يعزز الإحساس بالحماية والانفتاح في آن واحد.

ويمتد المشروع على مساحة تقارب 6500 متر مربع، ليقدم نموذجًا لمبنى مكتبي معاصر يجمع بين التقنية والهوية المحلية، من خلال حلول تصميمية تعزز الكفاءة البيئية وتدعم تجربة المستخدم. كما تم التركيز على تحقيق تواصل بصري مستمر بين الداخل والخارج عبر فراغات مدروسة تسمح بتدفق الضوء الطبيعي وتعزيز العلاقة مع المحيط.

ويسعى المشروع إلى تقديم تجربة مكانية متكاملة تعكس عمق عمارة الساحل الشرقي، وتطرح رؤية لعمارة سعودية معاصرة تنطلق من البيئة المحلية وتعيد صياغتها بلغة حديثة تجمع بين الأصالة والابتكار.

This project represents a contemporary interpretation of Eastern Coast architecture, inspired by the relationship between the sandy landscape and the shoreline as defining elements of the site’s identity and visual character. Rather than replicating traditional architectural elements in their conventional form, the design reinterprets them through a contemporary architectural language that responds to the spirit of the place and its environmental conditions.

The design concept emerged from the interaction between sand and sea, resulting in an architectural mass that integrates naturally with the land and responds to it as an extension of the surrounding landscape. As a result, the building reflects a sense of fluidity and calmness, with a balanced composition of shadow, mass, and void that enhances both openness and protection.

Spanning approximately 6,500 square meters, the project presents a contemporary office building that combines technology with local identity through design solutions that enhance environmental performance and support user experience. Attention was given to creating continuous visual connectivity between interior and exterior spaces through carefully designed openings that allow natural light to flow while strengthening the relationship with the surrounding environment.

At its core, the project seeks to create an integrated spatial experience that reflects the depth of Eastern Coast architecture while presenting a vision for contemporary Saudi architecture rooted in the local environment and redefined through a modern language that balances authenticity and innovation.
