A major step forward for Romania’s healthcare infrastructure.
The construction phase of the Iași Regional Emergency Hospital officially begins, following the signing of the Package 2 – Construction Works Contract at the headquarters of the National Agency for Health Infrastructure Development (ANDIS) in Bucharest.

The works contract, valued at 1.699 billion RON (excluding VAT), was signed between ANDIS, represented by Vice President Mihai Daniel Pavel, and the Contractor Consortium formed by CCN Altyapı Yatırımları ve İnşaat A.Ş. (Consortium Leader), CCN Yatırım Holding A.Ş., Rotary Construcții Mentenanță S.A., and Bedamiro Holding Parcări Construct S.A.
The overall project, co-financed through the EU Health Programme 2021–2027, has a total value exceeding 3.23 billion RON and represents one of Romania’s most significant public healthcare investments. Once complete, the hospital will provide modern, high-capacity emergency and specialized medical services for the entire North-East region.

Tecnic is providing Supervision Services for this project, overseeing the ex*****on works to ensure technical compliance, quality assurance, health and safety, and adherence to international construction standards. We are proud to contribute to the delivery of this vital healthcare facility, designed to strengthen Romania’s medical infrastructure and regional development.

We’re thrilled to celebrate the opening of the A7 Ploiești–Buzău, Lot 2 (Mizil–Buzău) section — an important milestone in the development of the Autostrada Moldovei (A7) and a major achievement for Romania’s infrastructure.

Stretching over 28.35 kilometers, this new section will make travel safer, faster, and more comfortable, connecting communities and supporting economic growth across the region.

Tecnic is proud to have contributed to this success by providing Supervision Services, helping ensure the works met the highest standards of quality and safety.

Congratulations to everyone involved for their dedication and teamwork in bringing this project to life!

Tecnic is pleased to participate in the fourth edition of “Bazele Carierei Inginerului CFDP,” organized by Cariera Feroviara in Romania (CFIR) in partnership with the Faculty of Railways, Roads and Bridges – Universitatea Tehnică de Construcții București. The event takes place on September 30 at UTCB and is dedicated to first-year students, offering a motivational introduction to the engineering profession.

The initiative is supported by the Railway Industry Association (AIF) and the Romanian Railway Engineers’ Association (AIFR), with media support from Club Feroviar, AGERPRES, and AGENDA CONSTRUCTIILOR & FEREASTRA. It brings together universities, professional associations, and 20 leading companies from infrastructure, design, consultancy, and HR to invest in the future of engineering.

By engaging directly with students at the very beginning of their studies, the event aims to strengthen motivation, shape perceptions of the field, and inspire career choices.

Tecnic looks forward to meeting the next generation of engineers and supporting their journey into the world of infrastructure.

Section 3 of the Sibiu–Pitești Motorway, the most challenging mountain segment between Cornetu and Tigveni, is progressing steadily with over 900 people and 150 pieces of equipment on site. Progress has already exceeded 7 percent, with work underway on the Poiana tunnel portals and the production of the 1,400 beams needed for bridges and viaducts.

The Poiana Tunnel, the longest on the A1 motorway at 1.78 km, will feature two galleries with two traffic lanes in each direction. The tunnel boring machine (TBM) has completed testing at the manufacturer and will be shipped to Romania, arriving at the port of Constanța in October. Oversized transports will then move the TBM to the site, with tunneling expected to begin around March next year.

Financed through the Transport Program and scheduled for completion in 2028, this project will be the first motorway to cross the Carpathians. Tecnic is proud to support the WeBuild–Tancrad joint venture with design services for this milestone investment in Romania’s connectivity and growth.
