Looking back at the delivery of Al Samlah, a unique Damen vessel proudly delivered by United International to Qatar’s Ministry of Transport.
Designed for versatility, Al Samlah keeps Qatar’s coasts and waterways safe by maintaining vital navigational aids such as buoys and lighthouses.

Built to the renowned design, Al Samlah performs critical tasks including:
- Towing, pushing, and anchor handling
- Lifting and maintaining buoys
- Marine surveying and civil marine support

Key Specs:
- Length: 32.7 m
- Beam: 13.42 m
- Engines: 2 marine diesel engines, fixed-pitch propellers (in nozzles)
- Cranes: 2 hydraulic deck cranes
- Hull: Steel, flat-bottom, robust construction (5 watertight compartments)
