VAVA’s glasses have a sophisticated, contemporaneous and urban look. They’re relaxed, subtly futuristic, conceptual and, at the same time, timeless. leanness and purity. Black future is darkness, decay and underground. To represent this vision VAVA created the White Label and the Black Label. We’re inspired by post-industrial cities like Detroit. Once the symbol of prosperity, which then collapsed and reinvented itself to ensure survival. The Techno movement emerged at the time as the guiding force of this process of rebirth; indeed, when it appeared in the 80s it was part of a movement towards the creation of a Techno City, the city of the future, where technology would emerge as the salvation. VAVA’s mission is to represent the man in control of the technological world whilst ahead of himself also. Nowadays, in an environment of high-speed culture, money, turbo capitalism, media overload, digital revolution, ecstasy of consumption, mega trends and accelerated culture, eyewear represents deceleration, purism, and metaphysics. The protection conferred by eyewear it is not just physically against a hostile environment (pollution, dust, UV, etc.) but also spiritually, allowing a certain dose of asceticism and renunciation, expressing the antithesis of acceleration and rest. VAVA is available in selected high-end eyewear boutiques and in concept stores.

Moullinex GPU Panic

Moullinex, a member of MCGPU, is wearing the VAVA WL0056 model in white with red tinted lenses.

Lisbon-based producer and musician Moullinex (Luís Clara Gomes) masterfully blends the organic with the artificial, creating soundscapes that thrive both on the dancefloor and in moments of deep introspection.
A former astronomy researcher, Gomes draws inspiration from his scientific background, channeling influences ranging from Vangelis and Giorgio Moroder to Brazilian MPB. After gaining early acclaim through high-profile remixes for artists like Robyn, Royksopp, and Cut Copy, he co-founded the label Discotexas. With acclaimed albums like Flora, Elsewhere, and Hypersex, Moullinex has established himself as a versatile, multi-layered force in electronic and disco music.

Moullinex GPU Panic

MXGPU is the creative union of Moullinex and GPU Panic, a duo redefining electronic music through immersive, 360° live experiences. Their debut album, Sudden Light (Discotexas, 2025), masterfully balances raw vulnerability with electronic precision, inviting audiences into a space of profound connection and transformation.

The duo’s vision culminated in a landmark 2026 performance at Primavera Sound Porto. In a feat of technical and artistic ambition, they staged Live Over Porto by performing from a platform suspended 30 meters in the air by a crane. Hovering directly above the crowd, they closed the festival’s main stage with a breathtaking display that turned the sky into a stage and the audience into a singular, unified experience.
