A aquisição de posição maioritária no Grupo IGM representa mais um passo do compromisso do Grupo Selena com os mercados de Portugal e Sul da Europa, reforçando a posição da Imperalum e restantes empresas do grupo nestes mercados.

📣 Grupa Selena sfinalizowała pierwszy etap transakcji nabycia 66% udziałów portugalskiego holdingu Irmãos Guimarães Martins, SGPS, S.A. (Grupo IGM IRMALEX,S.A), wzmacniając swoją pozycję w Europie Zachodniej oraz rozwijając portfolio rozwiązań dla nowoczesnego, energooszczędnego budownictwa.
🔝Grupo IGM jest liderem rynku wysokiej jakości płyt warstwowych na Półwyspie Iberyjskim oraz ważnym producentem rozwiązań wykorzystywanych w realizacji dachów i elewacji dla budownictwa mieszkaniowego i przemysłowego. W 2024 roku Grupa IGM zanotowała sprzedaż w wysokości 66,5 mln euro. Dzięki silnemu zapleczu produkcyjnemu w Portugalii oraz rozwijającej się działalności eksportowej spółka posiada znaczący potencjał dalszego wzrostu.
👉Finalizacja pierwszego etapu transakcji była możliwa po spełnieniu wszystkich warunków formalnych, obejmujących zakończenie procesu badania due diligence oraz uzyskaniu decyzji portugalskiego urzędu antymonopolowego o braku konieczności uzyskania zgody na transakcję. To kolejny ważny krok w realizacji kierunku rozwoju Grupy Selena obejmującego segmenty, wspierające transformację energetyczną i zrównoważone budownictwo. Rosnące znaczenie zaawansowanych materiałów termoizolacyjnych oraz dynamiczny rozwój rynku paneli warstwowych na Półwyspie Iberyjskim tworzą nowe możliwości skalowania biznesu dla całej Grupy.

📣 The Selena Group has completed the first phase of the acquisition of a 66% stake in the Portuguese holding company Irmãos Guimarães Martins, SGPS, S.A. (Grupo IGM ), strengthening its position in Western Europe and expanding its portfolio of solutions for modern, energy-efficient construction.
🔝Grupo IGM is the market leader in high-quality sandwich panels on the Iberian Peninsula and a major manufacturer of solutions used in the construction of roofs and facades for residential and industrial buildings. In 2024, the IGM Group recorded sales of €66.5 million. Thanks to its strong production base in Portugal and its growing export business, the company has significant potential for further growth.
👉The completion of the first stage of the transaction was made possible after all formal conditions were met, including the completion of the due diligence process and the receipt of a decision from the Portuguese antitrust authority stating that no approval was required for the transaction. This is another important step in the implementation of the Selena Group’s development strategy, which encompasses segments supporting the energy transition and sustainable construction. The growing importance of advanced thermal insulation materials and the dynamic growth of the sandwich panel market in the Iberian Peninsula are creating new growth opportunities for the entire Group.
