We are proud to see the IABSE book “Bridge Construction Methods Essentials and Critical Lessons, Practitioners’ Perspectives” featured in BD&E.

This publication brings together the contribution of some of the world’s leading bridge engineers, including several engineers from BERD. One of the editors is Pedro Pacheco, CEO of BERD, reinforcing the company’s active role in advancing knowledge within the bridge engineering community.

Designed as a practical and accessible resource, the book shares real-world experience and critical lessons from bridge construction, helping engineers understand not only how bridges are built, but what truly matters on site.

🚀 Sustainability in action!

In the Sular Valley Viaduct project in Istanbul, our client KAPPA KALIP VE İNŞAAT TAAHHÜT A.Ş. is pioneering sustainable bridge construction by integrating our MSS M1-90-S with BBR C**A CMI and CMF PT tendons.

This innovative approach achieved:
✅ 21,300 tons of CO₂ savings
✅ 46% less concrete
✅ 51% less steel reinforcement
✅ 31% reduction in strands

A clear example of how structural efficiency and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand, setting a new standard for sustainable infrastructure. 🌍🌉
