Beat the heat with Ascendum: five essential safety tips to protect your crew and keep them safe in extreme conditions.

1. Know the warning signs: Look out for high body temperature, hot skin, strong pulse, headaches, dizziness, or confusion. Act fast if you notice any of these.
2. Drink plenty of water: Make water easy to access and encourage everyone to stay hydrated. Provide shaded areas to rest.
3. Take regular breaks: Let your team rest in shaded or cool areas, especially during the hottest hours.
4. Check your equipment: Make sure A/C systems in machines are working well and regularly maintained.
5. Have a heat plan: Train your team to spot heat stress and adjust work during the hottest parts of the day.
