REGISTO DE OBRA | ESTRUTURA METÁLICA E COBERTURA – EXPANSÃO DE ESCRITÓRIO EM FARO

Partilhamos o registo da nossa intervenção na obra de expansão da zona de escritórios de um edifício industrial em Faro.

Para este projeto, assegurámos a produção e instalação da estrutura metálica de dois pisos, ligados entre si por uma escada metálica e um piso revestido a OSB.

Paralelamente, executámos a cobertura da área intervencionada com painel sandwich.

Here is a summary of our work on the expansion of the office area in an industrial building in Faro.

For this project, we handled the fabrication and installation of a two-story steel structure, connected by a steel staircase and a floor clad with OSB.

At the same time, we installed a sandwich panel roof over the renovated area.

SERRALHARIA CIVIL | GUARDAS METÁLICAS NO PORTO

Platinum Terrace Apartments e Casal de Passos: dois projetos distintos, ambos localizados no Grande Porto, com guardas em aço carbono produzidas e instaladas pela Beetsteel.

No Platinum Terrace Apartments, as linhas simples e depuradas acompanham a linguagem contemporânea do atelier Lousinha Arquitectos, responsável pelo desenho do edifício. Já em Casal de Passos, a reabilitação de uma moradia do século XVIII levou à recriação de gradeamentos de inspiração histórica, dando origem a elementos de estética tradicional, desenvolvidos de acordo com a visão do gabinete JCC Architects.

Platinum Terrace Apartments and Casal de Passos: two distinct projects, both located in Oporto, featuring carbon steel railings manufactured and installed by Beetsteel.

At Platinum Terrace Apartments, the simple, clean lines complement the contemporary style of the architectural firm Lousinha Arquitectos, which designed the building. At Casal de Passos, the renovation of an 18th-century villa led to the recreation of historically inspired railings, resulting in traditional aesthetic elements developed in accordance with the vision of the firm JCC Architects.

Conforme figura na modelação 3D, a nossa intervenção incidiu na estrutura metálica do espaço, incluindo as escadas de ligação entre pisos, e na cobertura da área intervencionada.

We recently participated in the expansion of a company’s offices in Faro.

As shown in the 3D rendering, our work focused on the space’s steel structure, including the staircases connecting the floors, and on the roof of the renovated area.

ACOMPANHAMENTO DE PRODUÇÃO | ESTRUTURAS METÁLICAS E REVESTIMENTOS – EXTENSÃO DE UNIDADE FABRIL

Recentemente, trabalhámos na produção da estrutura metálica para a ampliação da unidade fabril de uma conceituada pastelaria da zona Norte.

Concluído o processo de soldadura, visível nas imagens, avançou-se para a decapagem e posterior pintura, etapas essenciais para garantir a proteção e preparação da estrutura antes da montagem.

We recently worked on the production of the metal structure for the expansion of a well-known bakery in the northern region.

Once the welding process—visible in the images—was completed, we moved on to the stripping and subsequent painting, essential steps to ensure the structure’s protection and preparation prior to assembly.

NOVO PROJETO | ESTRUTURA METÁLICA E COBERTURA - GRAND HOTEL AÇORES ATLÂNTICO

O Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico vai ter um novo SPA - e a Beetsteel foi a empresa escolhida para produzir e instalar a sua estrutura e cobertura.

Assinado pelo gabinete Sequeira Dias Arquitectos, o projeto resulta de uma extensão natural da atmosfera naval e do design mid-century (anos 60) que caracteriza o edifício.

The Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico is set to open a new spa – and Beetsteel was the company chosen to manufacture and install its structure and roofing.

Designed by Sequeira Dias Arquitectos, the project is a natural extension of the maritime atmosphere and mid-century (1960s) design that characterises the building.

ACOMPANHAMENTO DE PRODUÇÃO | TUBOS METÁLICOS – AZORES RETAIL PARK

Dar forma ao ferro é um exercício de precisão, sobretudo quando o projeto incorpora movimento.

Na cobertura ondulada do Azores Retail Park, cada tubo nasce da união de vários segmentos metálicos, preparados, ajustados e soldados com absoluto rigor.

É este processo minucioso que assegura a fluidez das curvas e a fidelidade à geometria da estrutura, dando vida a uma linguagem arquitetónica dinâmica e expressiva.

Shaping steel is an exercise that requires precision, particularly when the design incorporates movement.

On the undulating roof of the Azores Retail Park, each tube is formed from the joining of several metal segments, prepared, fitted, and welded with the utmost rigor.

It is this meticulous process that ensures the fluidity of the curves and fidelity to the structure’s geometry, bringing to life a dynamic and expressive architectural language.

REGISTO DE PROJETO | GARRAFEIRA METÁLICA – THE LINCE SANTA CLARA HISTORIC HOTEL

A garrafeira que desenvolvemos para o The Lince Santa Clara integrou-se perfeitamente com o restante mobiliário da unidade hoteleira.

Produzida em varão nervurado, que remete aos veios das vinhas, a estrutura evoca o universo do vinho e o seu processo de amadurecimento.

A composição inclui ainda caixilhos pontuais, que permitem expor algumas referências e acomodar as garrafas em diferentes posições.

The wine rack we designed for The Lince Santa Clara blends seamlessly with the rest of the hotel’s furnishings.

Crafted from ribbed timber, reminiscent of the vines’ tendrils, the structure evokes the world of wine and its ageing process.

The design also features individual shelves, allowing for the display of selected wines and the storage of bottles in different positions.

ESCADAS METÁLICAS – VANTAGENS ASSOCIADAS

As escadas metálicas oferecem várias vantagens face às produzidas com outros materiais.

São extremamente duráveis e robustas, suportando cargas elevadas e resistindo ao desgaste, aos impactos e às deformações. Além disso, permitem grande flexibilidade de design, possibilitando a criação de formas curvas, helicoidais, suspensas ou “flutuantes”. Por serem pré-fabricadas, a sua instalação é mais rápida, reduzindo o tempo de obra, e o metal, mais leve que o betão, reduz a carga sobre a estrutura do edifício.

A manutenção também é simplificada, pois, com pintura ou tratamento anticorrosivo, as escadas metálicas resistem à humidade, aos cupins e ao m**o. São ainda uma opção mais sustentável, já que o metal é 100% reciclável e pode ser reaproveitado. Por fim, oferecem segurança reforçada, podendo incluir superfícies antideslizantes, corrimãos e resistência superior ao fogo em comparação com a madeira.

Recorde, percorrendo a galeria de imagens, dois exemplos que executamos para o Oculto, um restaurante com Estrela Michelin em Vila do Conde, e para a Rose de Cherbourg, uma obra emblemática em la Défense, na França.

Metal staircases offer several advantages over those made from other materials.

They are extremely durable and robust, capable of withstanding heavy loads and resisting wear, impact and deformation. Furthermore, they allow for great design flexibility, enabling the creation of curved, spiral, suspended or ‘floating’ forms. As they are prefabricated, installation is quicker, reducing construction time, and metal, being lighter than concrete, reduces the load on the building’s structure.

Maintenance is also simplified, as, with paint or anti-corrosion treatment, metal staircases are resistant to damp, termites and mould. They are also a more sustainable option, as metal is 100% recyclable and can be reused. Finally, they offer enhanced safety, potentially including non-slip surfaces, handrails and superior fire resistance compared to wood.
