A new barge designed for sand transportation.

Our task was to bore holes for the pins of the cargo hatch opening mechanisms.

After taking measurements, it became clear that the available working space was extremely limited.

The distance from the wall to the lug was only about 600 mm.

Under such conditions, most line boring machines simply would not be able to perform this job.

Thanks to the compact design of the Borweld machine, we were able to install the equipment and complete the machining directly on site.

The initial hole diameter was 255 mm.

The required final size was 281 mm.

Machining a single axis took approximately 20 hours.

Despite the limited space, the large dimensions of the components, and the high-strength S460 steel, all work was completed accurately and on schedule.

Nowa barka przeznaczona do transportu piasku.

Naszym zadaniem było wytoczenie otworów pod sworznie mechanizmów otwierania luków ładunkowych.

Po wykonaniu pomiarów okazało się, że przestrzeń robocza jest bardzo ograniczona.

Odległość od ściany do ucha wynosiła zaledwie około 600 mm.

W takich warunkach większość wytaczarek po prostu nie byłaby w stanie wykonać tej pracy.

Dzięki kompaktowej konstrukcji Borweld udało się zamontować maszynę i przeprowadzić obróbkę bezpośrednio na obiekcie.

Początkowa średnica otworów wynosiła 255 mm.

Należało uzyskać wymiar 281 mm.

Obróbka jednej osi zajmowała około 20 godzin pracy.

Pomimo ograniczonej przestrzeni, dużych gabarytów elementów oraz zastosowania stali wysokowytrzymałej S460, wszystkie prace zostały wykonane dokładnie i w terminie.
