A jet engine might look like a giant metal tube from the outside, but inside, it’s a masterpiece of engineering with multiple parts working together to create incredible thrust. Let’s break it down step by step.

In simple terms: a jet engine pulls in air, squeezes it, mixes it with fuel, ignites it, and blasts the hot gases out the back to push the airplane forward.

🔹 Fan: The large blades at the front that pull in massive amounts of air.
🔹 Compressor: Squeezes the air, making it high pressure.
🔹 Combustion Chamber: Fuel is sprayed in and ignited, creating extremely hot gases.
🔹 Turbine: Extracts some of that energy to keep the fan and compressor spinning.
🔹 Exhaust/Nozzle: Directs the remaining hot gases backward, producing thrust.

⭕️ Did You Know: The air exiting a jet engine can be hotter than lava—over 1,500°C in the combustion section.
