We’ve just returned from 𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐕𝐀 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 with a lot of new insights, valuable discussions, and an even broader perspective on how 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 are shaping modern industry.

One of the most interesting observations was seeing how different tools, teams, and processes can operate within one integrated ecosystem. Today, the real challenge is no longer only collecting data. It is connecting 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞, and 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬 in a way that supports faster and more reliable decision-making 👌

During the event, we focused not only on exploring the AVEVA ecosystem, but also on discussions around the importance of 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 for industrial and infrastructure projects.

Events like AVEVA World clearly show how important the integration of 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚, and 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 has become across the entire industry.

Irish folk music in the background? 🍀
Not by accident.

This project is located in Ireland - a beautiful group of buildings surrounded by greenery, quietly waiting for its revitalisation.

During the 3D scanning and drone flights, it felt like we were doing something more than just documentation.
More like digitally preserving a place before it begins its next chapter.

That’s probably what we enjoy most about working with existing architecture - capturing its character, proportions and atmosphere before everything changes.

Millions of points.
Silence.
Green landscapes.
Irish atmosphere.
And architecture waiting for a second life.

Not every GPR survey needs to focus on creating full underground utility documentation for an entire area.

Sometimes, the most important task is identifying 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

On one of our current projects, we are focused on locating a 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘄𝗮𝘆. This is the exact infrastructure element we need to assess in order to verify its condition and position within the ground structure.

Our goal is not to map all underground utilities. We are looking for precise answers to several practical questions:
• 𝗪𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆?

This project is a great example of how 𝗚𝗣𝗥 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 provides value not only for large scale underground mapping, but also for 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 of specific infrastructure components.

With this type of survey, it is possible to:
• detect hidden issues beneath the surface faster
• reduce the need for destructive excavation works
• minimize project and maintenance risks
• support better infrastructure management decisions
• verify underground conditions without interfering with the roadway structure

In many cases, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 can have a major impact on the safety and durability of the entire system. That is why 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 matters more than ever.

We also work on smaller architectural elements where 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 are absolutely critical.

Recently, we scanned two 𝘁𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗺𝘀 intended for 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

The project was carried out in 𝗪𝗿𝗼𝗰ł𝗮𝘄, allowing us to efficiently complete the entire scanning process

In projects like this, the key factors are:
• highly accurate 𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲
• preservation of 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 and ornaments

Using 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝟯𝗗 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, we captured detailed measurement data that became the foundation for further 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 and 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸.

We are not always focused only on large and complex projects

Sometimes it is good to take a breath and work on something different
This time we scanned a fire truck.
For this task, 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗰 𝗟𝗲𝗼 proved to be a perfect choice – mobile, fast and very user-friendly.
The result?
- full geometry capture of the entire vehicle body
- high accuracy without markers
- comfortable scanning even for large objects
