Before using the SEPARATOR we need to check some point:

1-Identify the range of the bourdon tube ,If the separator pressure is anticipatedtobe 1440 psi the bourdon tube should have a maximum range of 1500 psi.
2-Confirm that the proportional band is set at 25%.
This means that the valve will stroke from the fully closed to the fully open position for a pressure increase equal to 25% of the range of the bourdon tube.
3-Confirm that the nozzle is below the beam.
4-Confirm that the proportional band connection is connected to the port that feeds the lower bellows. As a reverse acting controller, the proportional band bellows must be the bellows that is positioned below the beam.
5- We need to check if the float is connected or not.
