The founder of the company Mirza Mehar Din (Late) started the business with the name of ‘Mehar & Sons’ in 1961 as manufacturer of storage tanks, expellers for oil extraction for local industry. Later the business turned to manufacturing for Ghee/Oil industry. By the grace of Almighty Allah, the business flourished and company received strong demand from market for the manufacturing
of machinery/equipment for Ghee/Oil mills across Pakistan and exported in other countries as well. Both the son of the founder, Mirza Faqeer Muhammad (Late) and Mirza Jan Muhammad (Late) stoned the foundation of ‘Mehar Engineering (Pvt) Ltd.’ in 1971 and engaged in the manufacturing of Ghee/Oil mill manufacturing and led the market by acquiring the status of largest manufacturer/installation company of Ghee mills for GCP (Ghee Corporation of Pakistan). Sons of both the brothers joined hands to cop-up new market demands in the field of Solvent Extraction/Ghee Plants and took responsibilities to carry on business to next generation. Mirza Mumtaz Ahmad joined the business in 1993 and Mirza M. Year 2012, both directors of the company signed the Joint Venture Agreement to establish ‘MM Engineering Associates’ to explore the new horizons of business and opportunities together. Year 2023 the 10 year’s JV agreement ended. Mehar Engineering (Pvt.) Ltd., is still here to fulfil the market demand with new emerging technologies. Engineer Mirza Mehar Ali joined the company in 2023. We take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as one of the leading manufacturers of Solvent Extraction Plants, Vegetable Ghee Plant, Cooking Oil Refinery, Delinting and Decorticator Unit with seed preparation and pre-pressing units in the country with extremely good operational results comparable with foreign suppliers. We have supplied quite a few extraction units of varying capacities in the past 62 years, which are working to the entire satisfaction of the owners. In fact there are some extraction plants which were imported from abroad but when the owners decided to increase the capacity, they requested us to the carry out the extension and
