Honoured to participate in the Punjab Agri-Food Investment Forum 2026, held on 24th April at Pearl Continental Lahore. The forum brought together provincial leadership, multilateral partners, the banking sector, and private stakeholders to shape the next phase of Punjab’s agri-food transformation.
Ravi Agritech (Pvt.) Ltd. was represented by Mr. Fahad Iqbal, CEO; Mr. Khurram Aleem, COO; and Hafiz M. Ahmad, Senior Manager, Alliances & Business Development.
The forum featured impactful perspectives from government leadership, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), FAO, the banking sector, and international experts, creating a strong platform for dialogue on investment, policy, and sector-wide reform.
A key highlight was the set of focused roundtables on
• Agro-Processing & Value Addition
• Technology & Mechanization
• Agri-Logistics, Warehousing & Storage
Representing Ravi Agritech in the Technology & Mechanization roundtable, Mr. Khurram Aleem, COO, highlighted a critical yet under-discussed issue: post-harvest losses driven by ageing combine harvesters. He emphasized the need for supportive policies to enable the adoption of modern, efficient machinery, alongside a structured transition pathway for the existing fleet to improve grain quality and reduce losses.
We also extend appreciation to Mr. Kazim Saeed for leading the session with depth and inclusivity, ensuring a meaningful and solution-oriented discussion.
Our sincere thanks to the Government of Punjab, the Planning & Development Board, and the Asian Development Bank for convening a forum of this calibre. Platforms like these, where policy, finance, and industry converge, are essential to translating intent into investment.
Ravi Agritech remains committed to advancing Punjab’s agri-food sector through innovation, partnerships, and on-ground impact.
