Earth Day, observed annually on 22 April, is a global initiative aimed at raising awareness about environmental protection and encouraging sustainable practices for a healthier planet . In line with this commitment, an Earth Day plantation and awareness session was successfully conducted at Tower No. 186, Dasu 765kV Lot-2 (Punjab Portion), with the active participation of the Main Client NGC, Consultant GOPA-TECH, EPC Contractor HEI, and subcontractors Al-Hussain Traders & Engineers (Pvt.) Ltd. and Potential Engineers (Pvt.) Ltd. During the session, workers were briefed on the importance of environmental conservation, emphasizing tree plantation as a key step toward reducing pollution, improving biodiversity, and ensuring a sustainable future, as tree planting remains a core activity of Earth Day celebrations worldwide .
